i've been WANTING to quit for a long time, i think this gives me incentive. $5.50 x 2 x 30 = $330 a month. stupid paying that to kill myself. WAFI i have been.

:sadwave:

i have been hearing this :violin: from u for the whatever years i have been here. Just go do IT!!!!!! Take the bull by the horns. Oh and if u can't i hear a lot of people in Pa actually drive to Delaware to stock up. Not that i want u to keep smoking but it is for the kids.

Brother in law just lost his mom less then a week ago with lung cancer yet the father and him still smoke those rat bastid things. My brother in law won't even come to my house because i won't let him smoke in it. sad part is that i like him a lot. Stupid bull head of his and he usually isn't this way with anything. My poor sister.

last time i saw my buddy in such great pain he had a pack of camels in his pocket. they think his cancer is isolated to his mouth. he's in for a long, rough, time. quitting must be so hard or everybody would do it. it's easy to say to quit because the price goes up but they say it's harder to quit than heroin.

ANYONE know or have a good piece of reading on wacky weed causing cancer or any other side effects other then the munchies and a lil laziness? If they did away with cigs and legalize the funny stuff everyone could still smoke/ get "that buzz" that the cigarrette smokers talk about/ and live happy longer and maybe just a lil chubbier:shrug: , could be a win win ontop of taxing the stuff the government could grow it themselves and it would become 100% profit and revenue. Win win for all. The jail system also becomes less crowded as all the nickle baggers and corner boys would be out of business as well of trouble for just having a toke here and there.:weed:

And as I apologize for the rudeness, my heart goes out to everyone who has lost someone to the BIG C-- I truely understand as it took a beautiful woman from my life at the age of 54 years young, not only does it take so many so young but the manner in which it does is just horrible, to watch someone deteriorate and fall victim is a very EYE OPENING ordeal for anyone or should be of not. Quit while you are ahead guys--and Jack or whoever had the Chantix idea--I'll say be careful with that stuff as I had a feamle friend only 33 yrs old try it and it caused her to have serious thoughts of suicide, so BOL and be sure to do your homework on that stuff

Partylines aside. How can someone post this??
Win-win for everybody involved.Tax my gas:mad:
Tax the cancerkillers:cool:

Hedge ,dont be an arse all the time:SIB

How is another tax a win, win? I am against all taxes...I will not compromise my principles...Like I said before, I do not use tobacco products, so I could careless and did not even pay that close attention when Barry raised taxes on cigs

I hope it makes everyone stop killing themselves smoking, I watched my grandfather die of emphysema and it sucked

............................................................

do you have me on ignore again ?

the drug is Chantix
Have never had you are anyone on ignore list Scott--Just read Jacks intial post 1st and responded--did see yours after I posted and read the rest of thread--

Yep might try that drug--have had most say as Jack related to--that side effects are significant.

On the tax issues--no doubt they will get less flack from taxing cigs than any other thing-but
A: it will hit many with least income the most--you just saw the $13 a week tax rebate wiped out by an added consumer tax.
B: next agenda is achohol-gas-NY even tried taxing non diet soda.

Fact is two fold--trying to dictate everyones lifestyle and looking for every opp to add/increase tax.

They might want to consider what a simple thing as increased tax on tea produced many years ago. :)

So puttn. cig. tax aside, how do we pay for public services? From recreation, schools, road work, etc.

I can see where tax money would be spent unwisely, but to say im against all taxes is just dumb IMO.take the blinders off Hedge, people like you keep this country stuck in neutral.

Don't use Mastercard as their handing their tobacco related sales to the Fed to collect taxes from as far back as 10 years ago...

i only use american express online because if i get ripped i can cancel without all the BS.

if they don't take amex, i don't buy.

they take it. matter of fact, that's the only thing they take right now except the checking account method :nono:
