My # 4 pick is TOLEDO vs. IOWA STATE on
Sept. 22.

Sept. 15 IOWA STATE vs. IOWA (HUGE RIVALRY)
Sept. 22 IOWA STATE AT TOLEDO***
Sept. 29 IOWA STATE AT NEBRASKA*

*Lost 14 straight in Lincoln.
***Iowa St. has dropped 6 straight road games &
are just 5-20 since 2002. ISU & UT only scored 46
pts LY in regulation (23-23) with 42 pts scored in
3OT periods.
2006 record (4-8)
4 returning starters on off.
7 returning starters on def.
This inexperienced team also has to learn new
schemes on both sides of the ball with a new
coaching staff.

Sept. 15 TOLEDO AT KANSAS*
Sept. 22 TOLEDO vs. IOWA STATE***
Sept. 29 TOLEDO vs. WESTERN MICHIGAN*

*Toledo beat Kansas LY in 2OT.
***Toledo is an outstanding 20-2 in their 1st HG
after 2 or more games on the road S/'86. LY vs
ISU, QB Cochran had career highs in comp, att,
yds, and TD's.
*These schools have played every yr S/'50 & UT
hasn't lost b2b yrs vs WMU since '87 & '88. Last
yr UT led at the half, but 3 TO's (4 total) & 24
unanswered by WMU was too much to overcome.

DAMN, maybe this one should move up a notch
or two. :mj07:

Like this Kramer, BUT, are you looking at Money Line plays or ATS? And if the later, what are you going to do when Iowa is favored by 10+:scared

Not busting balls, just curious of the methodology. Let me know what I'm missing here.:SIB

Respectfully,

Franky :)

Franky, nothing is etched in stone for me. A lot
can and will happen between now and gametime,
I'm basically just taking a look at potential spots
to play, and getting all fired up for the start of
the season. But I will be looking at ATS. If a ML
situation presents itself, I will look at that too.
For instance, when So. Miss goes to Tennessee
on Sept. 8, I can almost gaurantee you I will
look at betting both ATS and a little on ML. But
I like building a parlay the most, and when I put
together a parlay, I buy points to get above or
below a critical #. This little bit of work I'm doing
is just satisfying my taste buds for the season to
begin.

GL2U THIS SEASON :toast:

OK, Cowherd pushed a probably #8 pick up to #6.
My #6 pick is taking WISCONSIN vs. MICHIGAN on
Nov. 10. He pointed out that Mich. is 3-9 ATS
vs Whisky last 12 yrs.

Nov. 3 MICHIGAN AT MICH. STATE (RIVALRY)
Nov. 10 MICHIGAN AT WISCONSIN***
Nov. 17 MICHIGAN vs. OHIO STATE

***Whisky won the last home game in 2005 but
has never won 2 in a row at home vs Mich.
Michigan Coach: LLOYD CARR
2006 Record (11-2)
6 off. returning starters
4 def. returning starters

This is why I have some reservations about
Whisky.

Nov. 3 WISCONSIN AT OHIO STATE*
Nov. 10 WISCONSIN vs. MICHIGAN***
Nov. 17 WISCONSIN AT MINNESOTA*

*Wisconsin has won 3 of the last 4 in this series.
The Badgers have won 3 in a row in the
Horseshoe (last loss in 1996).
***Michigan has won 7 out of the last 8 series
matchups. In Madison in 2005, the Badgers got a
TD with :24 left for a 23-20 win over a ranked
Michigan squad.
*Whisky has won 10 of the last 12.

Whisky Coach: Bret Bielema
2006 Record (12-1)
9 off. returning starters
7 def. returning starters

Phil Steele: "This is the Badger's best team in the
last 3 yrs and despite 3 tough road games, they
are a Big 10 and National Title Contender.

WARNING: The following pick is ugly, BUTT UGLY.
The good news is, we will be getting lots of
points. Bear with me. :mj07:

My #7 pick is taking KANSAS AT TEXAS A&M on
Oct. 27.

Oct. 13 KANSAS vs. Baylor
Oct. 20 KANSAS AT COLORADO*
Oct. 27 KANSAS AT TEXAS A&M***
Nov. 3 KANSAS vs. NEBRASKA *

*Kansas was a 2 pt fav LY and beat Col 20-15.
***Kansas was getting +1 ATS LY vs A&M and
lost 21-18. KU is 0-3 at Kyle Field all-time with
their avg margin of defeat by 14 ppg. The 10
FD's & 288 yds of off. the Jayhawks had LY vs
the Aggies were both season low's.
*Kansas was a 22.5 pt dog at Neb. LY and lost
in OT 39-32.

Kansas Coach: Mark Mangino
2006 Record (6-6)
6 off. returning starters
8 def. returning starters
*5 of the teams 6 losses were decided by an
average of 5.4 ppg.

Oct. 6 TEXAS A&M vs. OKLAHOMA STATE
Oct. 13 TEXAS A&M AT TEXAS TECH
Oct. 20 TEXAS A&M AT NEBRASKA*
Oct. 27 TEXAS A&M vs. KANSAS***
Nov. 3 TEXAS A&M AT OKLAHOMA*
Nov. 10 TEXAS A&M AT MISSOURI
:scared :scared :scared

*Texas A&M's last & only win (1-6) in Lincoln was
a 27-0 shutout in 1955. The Aggies have dropped
4 straight & 9 of 10 meetings vs the Huskers.
***I got to tell ya A&M should win this game
easily. Should could turn out to be a last second
game. All you have to do is look at that schedule.
I don't care what anybody says, Kansas is in a
good spot here.
*A&M was getting 2.5 pts LY and lost to OU by
1 pt (17-16)

Texas A&M Coach: Dennis Franchione
2006 Record (9-4)
9 Returning Starters on off.
6 Returning Starters on def.
Admittedly, A&M is a team to watch this year. But
I believe they will be favored by too many pts on
the 27th of Oct.

Sept. 15 VIRGINIA AT N. CAROLINA*
Sept. 22 VIRGINIA vs. GEO. TECH***

*The home team has won 6 of the last 7 including
a VIRGINIA SHUTOUT LAST YEAR.
***HOME TEAM IS 11-1 since 1995. Virginia def.
was ranked 17 nationally LY, and could be better
this season (Phil Steele). Def. is loaded and better
than any in Groh's tenure. Made Phil's list of most
improved teams.

Thanks AR, I am so pumped for the Fall Season
and College and Pro Football, and looking at these
games just gets me more pumped :00hour

I don't know how this happened but my next
pick makes it an even selection between the
conferences, 2 Big 12, 2 Big 10, 2 SEC, 2 Pac 10,
and 2 ACC.

My # 10 pick is taking KENTUCKY vs. LSU on
Oct. 13. I know this looks ugly, but think about
what the spread will be for a moment and I will
try to explain why I think Tucky stays under the
number. Cowherd thought Florida would Struggle
at Tucky. I don't understand why. Florida has a
BYE the week before. Anyway,

Oct. 6 LSU vs. FLORIDA*
Oct. 13 LSU AT KENTUCKY***
Oct. 20 LSU vs. AUBURN*

*LY was the 1st time both schools were ranked
in the Top 10 when facing each other. The Tigers
have won 2 of the last 3 but has just 4 wins the
last 19 games. If the Gators get past Tenn. (at
home) and Auburn (at home) and LSU gets past
Va. Tech (at home) and S. Carolina (at home),
they will both be undefeated. Florida beat LSU
LY 23-10 as a 1 pt fav. HUGE GAME REGARDLESS.
***LSU outgained Tucky 546-227 & held QB
Woodson to 14 of 37 for 145 yds in a 49-0 ass
woopin at Baton Rouge. TIGERS HAVE WON 4
STRAIGHT IN THE SERIES **BUTT** THE LAST
2 GMS AT KENTUCKY WERE DECIDED BY A
TOTAL OF 7 PTS.:00hour
*LSU had 5 drives inside the Auburn territory end
in no pts in last years 7-3 loss. Tigers had a 311-
182 yd edge in the game & sacked Auburn QB
Cox 4 times. HUGE GAME :00hour

LSU COACH: LES MILES
2006 Record (11-2)
6 off. starters returning
8 def. starters returning
----------------------

Oct. 4 (Thru. Night) KENTUCKY AT S. CAROLINA*
Oct. 13 KENTUCKY vs. LSU***
Oct. 20 KENTUCKY vs. FLORIDA*

*South Carolina has won 7 in a row in this series
vs Kentucky. 4 of 5 have been decided by a TD
or less.
***LY's 49-0 blowout was Rich Brooks most
lopsided defeat at Kentucky. You really think he
doesn't remember that. And do you think Tucky
will be looking ahead to the Gators while the
Tigers are looking them square in the face. NADA.
Just remember, LOOK AT THE POINT SPREAD.
Also remember, LAST 2 GAMES AT KENTUCKY
WERE DECIDED BY A TOTAL OF 7 POINTS.
*The Wildcats haven't beaten the Gators since
1986 (20 in a row). The average margin of defeat
in their 20 game losing streak to Florida is 23 ppg.

Kentucky Coach: Rich Brooks
2006 Record (8-5)
7 off. returning starters including almost all of their
skill players. They are led by UK's version of the
"triplets" (QB Woodson, RB Little, WR Burton).
The Cats should top LY's 26.7 ppg. (Phil Steele).
8 def. returning starters including the top 5
tacklers.

So Cal
I like the UCLA pics.
I think they are contenders in the PAC 10 ty.

Lots of returning starter on both sides of the ball.
If the Def plays the way it did LY ,the Off. will only need to be better then avg.
I was in Westwood at a irish bar last night and begun talking with some students and fans.
Expectations are high in westwood.
