Weather is nuts. It's snowing....again. Charlotte is basically shut down. I'm not sure anyone will go anywhere tomorrow either, depending on temps tonight.

City of Charlotte sent out an email to folks this morning saying that some services had planned on trying to open at Noon but they feel that's not safe, so they are telling everyone to stay home.

Havent seen these dangerous conditions in Charlotte in some time.

Atlanta still shut down as well. Has been for 3 days. Looks like may get some melting today with sun out, but not enough to make tomorrow good either. Crazy stuff.

Had some good wine though. :)

Very good!!! Will girlfriend be coming too? Which part you moving to?

KOD and I will throw a welcome party. :0corn

Looking in Midtown or near Midtown, since that's where I'll be working. Linz is very excited about the move. She will definitely be coming along.

Got everyone's preferred payout methods now. Planned on taking care of this tomorrow but not sure I can get to the bank. Will depend on the roads. Don't worry....it's coming.

AARRRGH!!...i hear you partner...15 inches deep here in b`more county(not light like last week, wet and heavy)....our house butts a cul-de-sac off to one side so i have the front and side to shovel.....

did the sidewalks, cleaned and started the cars, and cleaned all that heavy snow weight off the decks......then,the plows came through and jammed another couple feet of packed wet snow in front of the driveway and re-buried the car on the side....fuck !!

now it`s sleeting.....i just pray we keep power.....

People have abandoned cars here. I walked to the grocery store earlier and it was a madhouse. No cashiers....only self check. The line was probably 40 people deep, minimum. I just went to the Redbox and rented two movies and walked back home.

With the temps going back into the lower to mid 20s tonight, the roads may be awesome early tomorrow LOL

Above the Clouds....
6 inches so far and another 10 inches coming overnite. That means I have to be out there at 5:30 am and do the driveway. It will probably be 3 feet high when the plows get finished overnite.

Atlanta would be devastated for a month.
