granted it`s early...and he did play for the browns......but the guy hasn`t really torn up the league...

we see them twice a year(3 times now) and i have to say i was pretty much underwhelmed(he did have one pretty good game against us).......

who knows, maybe playing with luck in a more balanced attack will make the difference....

Don't understand this at all. Did Richardson break both of his legs in practice today or something?

What is really going on here? Richardson was a top 3 pick LAST YEAR. Now he's being traded for what will likely amount to a bottom half 1st round choice?

Why trade him to the colts? You're trying to shop Richardson and you really have no offers better than the Colts 1st round pick next year?

Who even calls the Browns thinking Richardson would even be available? If you are building a team, other than Andrew Luck, what the hell do you want to build with?

This trade reeks of something fishy

Yeah he only broke Jim Browns rookie rushing record for the Browns. What a turd.

he ran for 950 yards last year at roughly 3.5 ypc....

apparently cleveland thought he wasn`t worth the money...f

Him playing for the browns is about all the explaining that needs to be done.

Who said anything about him being a top 3 back?

He also caught 51 passes last year.

i misread your original post....

i`m thinking that there has to be more to richardson that folks outside the cleveland front office inner circle aren`t aware of..i read that many on the the cleveland fan boards aren`t necessarily all broken up about the move...

they`re stockpiling for the 2014 draft and apparently are willing to concede 2013 and shoot for the future....

we`ll see how it pans out....i agree that the move to indy(and luck) has to be a huge benefit for richardson...

Id hope for their benefit that there is a lot more to it than meets the eye. Just about every team in the league would ship a 1st rounder for Richardson. He's played one season, hurt, on a terrible team, and still produced.

Why would you not shop a guy who went 3rd overall and is at the beginning of his prime. And if he was shopped, why was it kept so quiet?

The Seahawks traded a 1st round pick for friggin Percy Harvin who has known health issues.

The whole thing just seems completely weird.

maybe they really wanted rid of the guy and might have felt like shopping him would send up a red flag to the rest of the league and make them look even more desperate than they are(if that`s possible)?...

definitely strange that a team with a poor passing game lets go of a young back like richardson....

i don`t recall what the over/under for brown wins was this year...i do remember reading some posts that indicated that people thought the browns would be improved this year...

condolences to those over bettors....:sadwave:
