granted it`s early...and he did play for the browns......but the guy hasn`t really torn up the league...
we see them twice a year(3 times now) and i have to say i was pretty much underwhelmed(he did have one pretty good game against us).......
who knows, maybe playing with luck in a more balanced attack will make the difference....
Yeah he only broke Jim Browns rookie rushing record for the Browns. What a turd.
he ran for 950 yards last year at roughly 3.5 ypc....
apparently cleveland thought he wasn`t worth the money...f
Him playing for the browns is about all the explaining that needs to be done.
Who said anything about him being a top 3 back?
i misread your original post....
i`m thinking that there has to be more to richardson that folks outside the cleveland front office inner circle aren`t aware of..i read that many on the the cleveland fan boards aren`t necessarily all broken up about the move...
they`re stockpiling for the 2014 draft and apparently are willing to concede 2013 and shoot for the future....
we`ll see how it pans out....i agree that the move to indy(and luck) has to be a huge benefit for richardson...
Id hope for their benefit that there is a lot more to it than meets the eye. Just about every team in the league would ship a 1st rounder for Richardson. He's played one season, hurt, on a terrible team, and still produced.
Why would you not shop a guy who went 3rd overall and is at the beginning of his prime. And if he was shopped, why was it kept so quiet?
The Seahawks traded a 1st round pick for friggin Percy Harvin who has known health issues.
The whole thing just seems completely weird.
They will have 2 first round picks to use to trade up to get a QB high in the draft.....Weeden is not the answer........
