has worked well for me the last 9 years.....dogs have NEVER had a losing year (units) since that time i started gambling

jmiz....

yes, I play every underdog each day...I have four offshore books and I shop for the very best price.
I have done this since 1995.
no guesswork.....easy money.....
my problem is I bet totals and other sports.......which I SUCK at.
If i had the discipline to just stay with this system, I would be a very wealthy young man.

i play the same amount on each game....$100.

doesn't matter the price....i like the big dogs, in fact

i have gotten in trouble when I change my amount higher (that always ends up being the week I get crushed!)

with discipline and shopping, this works

i am not really amazed at all. People lack discipline and love favorites

people love favorites...betting the better teams......juice is always inflated.

this underdogs system I have done for years has never had a losing season.

I just need to stay away from all other bettng...LOL

On the course!
mize,

There is no free lunch. Dogs win......chalk wins........period. If there is some trend hitting the past few seasons, it is just that.....a trend.

What happens when the season starts out all chalk winning, and you lose your bank before the dogs start up?

Besides, if you told me that betting every dog for the past nine years would have you on the plus side each of those years, and were silly enough to make other bets, well.......frankly, I don't need to hear anything else from you.

I find that one hard to believe, that taking all dogs for the last nine seasons has turned a profit:shrug:

I would love to see some numbers to prove me wrong, so I could jump on that train

i was just trying to help the board.

but that's ok..;..keep taking the chalk....it will make the dog prices higher for me.

and thanks...you have just motivated me to completely stop betting anything besides baseball underdogs. I love proving people wrong.

P.S......your bankroll would not be shot if chalk wins big early in the year......because you would have saved up a huge bankroll from the previous several years

Juice,

Keep at it, I think you are on the right track. I, too, suck at betting other sports, but always manage to do OK in baseball. While I don't bet all the dogs every day, I do only bet dogs when I bet. So far this year I am 46-43 for +15.54. Only way to bet bases as far as I'm concerned.

You're on the right track, Juice! I've always been a dog bettor myself, and I daresay when I go out on a limb and play a favorite, I get my ass handed to me nearly everytime...Have usually had decent success in the past, as well, sticking to dogs. I'd be interested in playing your system later this year...have to reload my account first...I'm a local bettor mostly...

GL!

Nobody can deny dogs are the way to go in bases, I just don't think it seems very practical to bet them blindly. You say it has been a money maker for 9 years. I can't dispute that, as I have no proof, but I would think bookies would take dogs completely off the board if they were a "sure thing".

Personally, I hope you kick em in the nuts!

yyz....

I was skeptical as well when I first heard of this. But with the dime lines (and lower nowadays) this system essentially (almost) makes me the book. I am taking advantage of Joe Public's love for "taking the 'better' team."
After all, who would want to put money on Tampa Bay when they are +280 to K. Brown and the Yankees.
The point is, these dogs do hit. You know that.
There was a great database I used a few years ago (I forget the name of it...damn) that showed how all underdogs and favorites have done versus the money since 1992. It was amazing. Dogs won nearly 46 percent of all games, thus, producing massive profits.
Baseball is a sport designed for money line betting....it has low scores and tight games. I wouldn't attempt this with other sports (maybe hockey).
There are days when I HATE throwing a unit on a team with little chance to win the game. But I do it anyway.
The best team in baseball loses 55 games each year and the worst teams wins 55 games each year.
The books probably don't know this. However, if they do, they figure not many people in the public know about it. Or, they might figure nobody has the discipline to do this.
I hope this system doesn't get out! LOL SShhh...
Anyway....the keys here are:
1- shopping for the best price on each game
2-sticking to the plan
3-not betting other sports if you suck (like me)

Also, many professional bettors SWEAR by parlaying faves together. This probably works for them. Perhaps knowing this, the books might inflate the faves, thus making dog prices very generous? I hope this helps. I know it sounds too simple and trite. You can do the research from Pinnacle over the past 2 or 3 years, but it will take some time. I wish I had that database back....but I know it works. That's really all I can say.

Oh...one more thing.......I know that when I personally bet other sports....I would rather be holding the ticket of the BETTER team. That is human nature. Who wants to bet on the inferior team or starting pitcher...especially when there is no point spread?? Nobody! But the value you will make over the LONG run belongs to the dogs....and it enough to offset the 8-cent ot dime line juice.
