That arid bone-dry desert wasteland looks awful appealing to my tired old bones..
Here in N.E. Oklahoma we have had 25+ inches rain since Jan 1, south of here 35+.
Bad thunderstorm as I type this....there are areas of neighborhoods that have stretches of front yard small ponds swarming with tadpoles....never have seen that before.
Mosquitoes will be the new state bird of Oklahoma Texas in a month.

How I would love to go to Vegas right now.....
I think I actually came away a bit ahead the last time, all from downtown - I lost on the strip last year.
I went last year and it was a lot of fun, but probably won't go this year. It'll be a full year of work for me, all I have been doing is working and saving. I'll probably hit Atlantic City, Ocean City, and Virginia Beach at some point during the year though.
