NATIONWIDE SERIES | Sam's Town 300 (3 p.m. ET Saturday)

0 -- Times a driver has won consecutive races at Vegas. Kevin Harvick is the defending race champion and a two-time winner at LVMS. A third win would tie him with Mark Martin and Jeff Burton for most all time there.

3 -- Times in the past three races the driver leading the most laps has won: Mark Martin (81 laps) in 2008; Greg Biffle (86) in 2009; Kevin Harvick (82) in 2010.

3 -- Times in the first six races the winner started from the pole. No winner started worse than seventh during that stretch. In the eight races since, the winner has started in the top 10 just half the time, but from the front row the past two years.

4 -- Times in the past four races a qualifying track record has been set. Brad Keselowski currently holds the mark (185.427 mph).

Very Interesting
0 -- Times the Nationwide Series held a race west of the Mississippi River before racing at Vegas in 1997.

SPRINT CUP SERIES | Kobalt Tools 400 (3 p.m. ET Sunday)

1 -- Teams which have placed a car in the top 10 in all 13 races at Las Vegas: Roush Fenway Racing. Roush's six wins are the most of any team and its drivers have led the most laps seven times.

2 -- Drivers not associated with either Roush Fenway Racing or Hendrick Motorsports who have won at Vegas: Sterling Marlin and Kyle Busch. Marlin won for Chip Ganassi Racing in 2002, driving a Dodge; Busch won for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2009, driving a Toyota.

5 -- Times in the past six races Jeff Gordon has finished in the top 10 (he has seven overall), including a third-place finish in 2010 in which he led the most laps ever in a Las Vegas race (219).

10 -- Times Kurt Busch has qualified in the top 10 in his 10 Vegas races, including winning the pole last year. His average starting position: 5.2; his average finish: 21.9.

Very Interesting
1 Drivers who have won at Vegas from the pole: Kyle Busch in 2009. However, Busch dropped to the rear of the field after changing an engine.

LAS VEGAS MISC. | Order race tickets

1 -- Times there has been a Cup/Nationwide sweep at Vegas: Jeff Burton in 2000.

1 -- Last-lap passes for each the Cup and Nationwide series at Vegas: Jimmie Johnson passed Matt Kenseth to win the Cup race in 2006 (the only lap Johnson led); Jeff Burton passed Kyle Busch to win the Nationwide race in 2007.

4 -- Combined wins at Vegas for Mark Martin. He won the inaugural Cup race there in 1998; the last of his three Nationwide victories came in 2008 (it's also the last of his 48 series wins).

14 -- Wins at Vegas for Roush Fenway across all three national series: Cup (6), Nationwide (5) and Truck (3).

Very Interesting
1 -- 1.5-mile tracks at which neither Carl Edwards or Kyle Busch have won in the Nationwide Series: Las Vegas. The two drivers combined have won 22 times on 1.5-mile tracks. Both drivers have won at LVMS in the Cup Series.

I'm no expert on Nascar, but my book has O/U finishing position for Kurt Busch at 12 1/2....(over -110, under-120)....he has not finished under that # at this track since 2005........small play on the over. Maybe his brother will put him into the wall:mj07:......good luck to all.

Head to Head Jr over Vickers -120 (2 units)

Top 3 (0.5 units)
Newman 7-1
Reutimann 10-1
McMurray 8-1

To Win
Smoke 14-1 (1 unit)
Biffle 9-1 (1 unit)
Gordon 13-1 (2 units)

Edwards or Kenseth could run away with it but some low odds on it. Gordon and Smoke at those odds is good value. I just hope fuel mileage doesn't let someone stupid win like yesterday where the fastest cars got screwed.

Good luck.:popcorn2
