Puts me on Flomax and check back in 30 days

Excercise will increase my energy and I won't be as tired. :142smilie

And, I should get full rest at night with the Flomax.

Sounds very similar to me, Jack. I am on Flomax and have been for over a year now. Doc told me not to drink and I said - uh...........no.

Do it anyway - no problems and feel better. SOmetimes I go off Flomax and I am fine for about four or five months. I go back on FLomax for a few months and then I have to go back on. Vicious cycle.

have the 0.4 dose and I took one at night - didn't work at first. Doc then said - try just after you eat lunch. Worked OK. Then doc said one pill after lunch and one after dinner - space the meals out as far as you can.

For me - eat at 11am and take pill at 11:15 THEN eat dinner at 7pm and take pill after.

This 2 a day method is perfect - for me at least - FYI

jack....all these prostate drugs lower your blood pressure a bit...that`s why i suggested that you cut the pill in half(or dump half of the powder out of a capsule)....

dr put me on rapaflo...8 mgs....i`m taking about a quarter to a third of that and it`s working....i had him write me a scrip for the new 4 mg capsule,and i`m dumping half of that and it`s working fine,......

i take it for a few days and go off for a day or two(it drys out my sinuses).....

try at least halving the dose to start out...if it`s not enough,you can always take more...if you take too much the first go`round and you have a reaction,you won`t want to take it at all...

Must be the aging thing going on.

Only got up to pee 3 times last night and feel well rested. Maybe I'll do better tonight since yesterday was the first day and I took that pill at 5pm.

weasie, the doctor said to take one pill, once a day, 15 minutes after a meal. I think I'll go along with his recommendation.
