I've ran track against Justin Fargas in high school, he smoked me in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m and we went head to head in the long jump. i jumped 20 feet on my best outta 4 jumps and he ripped off a 23 fter on his first attempt and didnt even jump again. Even as a soph/junior in HS he looked like a beast.

I know Peter Vagenas who's played MLS for years, used to play on his team, the dude would practice soccer hours a day, and hes one of the coolest guys you'd ever meet even if he wasn't a world class athlete.

Sort of made pals with Demeco Ryans when he was in my freshman english class... A really great guy.. very soft spoken, but a BEAST on the football field..

That said, Jackie's team beat the piss out of him and his defense today.. :142smilie

Brodie Croyle sort of a douche ive heard....

He's been retired for a while, but I played against Napoleon Kaufman in high school. He scored something ridiculous like 6 TDs against us.

When I was in college I had the great pleasure of knowing Jerramy Stevens. :mj07: Yes, all the rumors are true. Larry Triplett and Marques Tuiasosopo are good guys though. Come to think of it, none of these guys are exactly stars so I think you've got me topped with Fargas.

I played football agaisnt Donald Hayes. He was a WR in the NFL for a while.

I also played high school football against Aaron Stecker. I give him credit for staying in the league as long as he has.

Both of those guys could have played any spot on the field and been the best.

Yeah, Kaufman played at Lompoc. We played them every year (I went to San Luis Obispo). He graduated the year I was in 10th grade. That guy was unbelievable.

Another thing I find funny... Mark Brunell's little brother played for St. Joseph's in Santa Maria, and he wasn't even good for a high school QB. :142smilie I guess big brother got all the genes in that family.

Benny "the jet" rodriguez from the sandlot went to my high school, in real life he was barely good enough to make the baseball team, in fact i think he got cut and onlyrode the pine by the time he made it senior year.
