The days of playing outside, drinking from a hose, and coming home when the porch light comes on... Who could forget your parents calling your name at dusk as you you were playing with firneds and having to ride your bike like there was no tomorrow before the third time they called you.
We had to start heading home when the street lights came on. If my mom had to yell our names more than once, it was leather time!
#1 (the rest all tie for second) Cosby Show - I remember my dad complaining that EVERYONE on tv was black when The Cosby Show came out. Ridiculous!
Wonder Years - oh, Winnie....
Doogie Howser - I started a journal on my Commodore 64 like his... just not as insightful and with no cool theme music. I wish I had a copy of those on a 3 1/2" disc
Cheers - probably one of my childhood memories I'll always cherish is watching Cheers with my family (then Night Court as a follow-up)
Dukes of Hazard - this was pre-boner years for me, but I'm pretty sure I still managed a few
Family Ties - oh, Mallory!!!!
Married with Children - oh, Peg!!!
Webster - I have a client named Emanuelle Lewis now. I was laughing while telling a guy at the next desk about this, and he had no clue as to who I was referencing.
Transformers - I raced off the bus to catch the last 10 minutes of this show every day. had to get a little taste before heading out for my chores with the horses
I guess that's enough for now :toast:
