The days of playing outside, drinking from a hose, and coming home when the porch light comes on... Who could forget your parents calling your name at dusk as you you were playing with firneds and having to ride your bike like there was no tomorrow before the third time they called you.

We had to start heading home when the street lights came on. If my mom had to yell our names more than once, it was leather time!

#1 (the rest all tie for second) Cosby Show - I remember my dad complaining that EVERYONE on tv was black when The Cosby Show came out. Ridiculous!
Wonder Years - oh, Winnie....
Doogie Howser - I started a journal on my Commodore 64 like his... just not as insightful and with no cool theme music. I wish I had a copy of those on a 3 1/2" disc
Cheers - probably one of my childhood memories I'll always cherish is watching Cheers with my family (then Night Court as a follow-up)
Dukes of Hazard - this was pre-boner years for me, but I'm pretty sure I still managed a few
Family Ties - oh, Mallory!!!!
Married with Children - oh, Peg!!! :)
Webster - I have a client named Emanuelle Lewis now. I was laughing while telling a guy at the next desk about this, and he had no clue as to who I was referencing. :(
Transformers - I raced off the bus to catch the last 10 minutes of this show every day. had to get a little taste before heading out for my chores with the horses

I guess that's enough for now :toast:

I'd say you were in my age bracket of 33. Grew up with those shows as they were all late 80s.

Life Goes On was another Sunday evening show for the family with the guy with Down Syndrome.

Sunday night Amazing Stories was awesome.

Elvira late Saturnight night "Attack of the Killer Tomato"

Twilight Zone with my dad.

Old westerns and the show Kung Fu on Sundays when it was raining.

I went by my old neighborhood when I was in northern Birmingham last week. A lot of memories, all of them good benchmarked against most people.

We just missed the technology boom if you don't count nintendo...

Last of the old ways from what I've seen with my nieces and nephews...

Growing Pains
Cheers
Wonder Years
Family Ties
Saved By The Bell
Seinfeld
Simpsons
Who's The Boss

I could go on and on and just wish they would put more of these reruns back on. Even moreso, I wish they would make good shows like the sitcoms of the 70's and 80's.

I used to love watching Who's The Boss and Growing Pains on the same night (I think it was Tuesday and then moved to Wednesday). My sister would watch Moonlighting so sometimes I'd watch that too.

Thursday night was awesome. Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court. The 1980's was a great time for TV.

Well since I am "all grown up" I can't include Fringe and Torv.

But ummmmm......how about Alyssa/Torv and kickserv in a three way.

Best show chick from "growing up" and best show from "all grown up".......sweet:SIB
