The battery doctor ap will help you out a little. download it and use it a few times a day. Make sure you turn your location services off. Change your email settings where your phone will only check for new emails when you click on the email button. Setting it to check on it's own every 15 minutes or whatever really drains your battery. I have found GPS drains my phone faster than anything by far. My charger that you saw in Cincy works, but it charges the phone slowly. It will charge it 3 times though.

Good deal! I hope it works out perfect! 8 days in casinos is an acid test of it....

Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk 2

Got this thing yesterday. It was charged somewhat but I don't know the exact percentage, the light give you an approximation of 66% to 100%.

Right away I charged my phone from 75% to 100%.

Last night I charged my phone from 20% to 100% and that took about an hour and 30 minutes.

This morning I charged it from 60% to 80% when it ran out of juice. I am charging the backup device right now. The directions say it takes about 6 hours to fully charge it.

I'll post another update after I have it fully charged and have charged my phone until it runs out again.

So far, I'm optimistic that this is the device I am in need of for the Vegas trip.

It's a little larger than I had expected but manageable, I guess. It's not as wide as the iPhone, not quite the height, but about two times thicker.

Yeah I've heard turning off your wifi (especially when you dont expect to be in range of one you already have setup) helps prolong battery life.

After fully charging the new gizmo, I charged my phone last night from 13% to 100% and it took 2 hours.

This morning I charged my phone from 20% to 100% and it took 90 minutes.

That's 2 almost full charges and it still has juice left but I doubt another full charge left in it but we shall see.

Out of curiosity, what are you running on your phone that drains the battery from 100% down to 20% overnight?

I was using it last night constantly, after I charged it, for about 4 hours for scores and tons of texting.

If I go to bed with it at 100% and apps turned off, it will still be 100% in the morning. Or close to it.

Jack, what version of the iPhone do you have?
My boss JUST forwarded me an email saying that there has been a glitch or something with a select batch of iPhone 5's that's causing the battery life to run shorter than usual. His is eligible for a free replacement. If yours is a 5, check your serial number here to see if you can get a replacement: https://ssl.apple.com/support/iphone5-battery/

Just shy of 3 full charges.

Is it possible the charge from that thing doesn't last as long? It doesn't seem logical but it sure seems the charge doesn't last as long.
