Ive been to Detroit so many times now, that it makes me sick to even go there....Clean that shit up!

So whats the dirties city you been to? In the USA of course. And I dont mean pass through it, I mean get a good look around you

I dont travel much but the cities Ive been too

1) Toledo (of course)
2) Cleveland
3) Columbus
4) Cincy
5) Dayton
6) Indianapolis
7) Pittsburgh
8) Detroit
9) Flint, Michigan
10) Lansing
11) Louisville
12) Tallahassee
13) St Louis
14) Akron

Now the Dirtiest is by far Detriot....it seems like every time I go up there, it get more and more dirty. BLAH! However, Detriots suburbs are nice with Farmington Hills and Sterling Heights or maybe thats Madison Heights...well one of the 2...

The second HAS to be Akron. Good god, that's not even a big city but I mean comee on.....maintain it or something.

the CLEANIST is probably Pittsburgh. The parts I went through....it seems like a nice town.

so whats yours.........?

I might have to say Youngstown. The city sucks and it is very dirty downtown IMO. You ever been to steubenville, some say its dirty, but some of the best gambling goes on down there

NYC - great city, but fuhkin disgusting. trash everywhere and a smell that lingers, but great town nonetheless.

cleanest city i've been to was downtown indianapolis. another great town, but nothing outside the city limits.

vanbasten - Ive flown into NYC but never actually drove around or anything...I heard about the trash and the graffitti (spell?) And the stinky ass smell.

joe - Never been to Youngstown....but it seems to me that the majority of the Ohio cities are all blue collar with the exception of Columbus...

Good topic!

The cleanest I have been to is
Honolulu, HI.

Newport, RI is nice, very clean too.
Annapolis, MD is also another nice and clean city, not too far from baltimore, which has some areas of concern - but not enough to be labeled a shithole really.
Agree with the above post about pittsburgh, visited it once and really enjoyed the place, nice, clean.

The nasty ones are, in no paritcular order

Jacksonville, NC. - around the Camp Lejeune area specifically. Talk about your armpits of the country!

San Diego probably has one of the absolute worst bum to productive member of society ratio. YOu cant even walk 10 feet without some smelly old bum trying to shake you down for some spare change. They hang out on freeway off ramps, by the 7-11, by the gas station trying to fill your car up for you for some bucks.

Milington/Memphis TN. - just plain nasty.

Barstow, CA - the armpit of the west coast

Earle, NJ - the armpit of the east coast

Midway, IL. armpit of the midwest states... i would not even get out of the car to pump gas around that place!

Gary, Indiana is the grossest place I have ever been. Chicago, Illinois is also pretty disgusting.

The cleanest big city I have ever seen is Seattle, Washington. Even the bums down by the harbor were clean.

REALLY?! I always pictured San Diego to be a great place to live if you decide to move west. All the positives I heard from it....I guess the truth comes out :)

I agree with both! Youngstown is the "little Italy" of the midwest. The feds think they have cleaned out the mafia by arresting the Sheriff (Phil Chance), the Congressman (Jim Trafficant) and numerous judges and lawyers, but it's all still here.

Yep...ole Jimbo. Was he guilty? Probably....Did they prove it? Nope!
He was railroaded. After the trial, a juror said that if he had heard the testimony of an individual (who wasn't allowed to testify at trial) but did testify at the House Ethics Committee hearing, that he would've voted Not Guilty.
