at least with shit, bitch, asshole, dick you know what the person using the words is referencing

having people type fock or fvck just makes them look illiterate anyway

if you were to allow the word ****, that would really open the door for many new variations like ****face, mother****er, dry****, and ****tits. I'm all for it :com:

what are ****tits

titty ****, sure, but ****tits?

racial words including the N word are much worse. the C word isn't as bad as those.

no matter what you censor, people will always find a way to get their meaning across.

I think people could really care less about the word being censored or not. Many times (I have myself) seen it typed "fvck" and it gets used regardless. I very much agree the c word is a more disgusting word and would offend women. Also, I think it was a good idea for you to censor the n word in all the forms btj uses it. I think he's funny but I can easily see how lots of people could get offended by him - black or white. You're right, we're in a gambling forum and the f word has become so "everyday" who really cares whether or not it's censored.

Think the only time it would be used would be in the vent threads! :D

Must say that word a hundred times yelling at the TV if my game is losing!

Doesn't offend me but keeping it censored is probably the best way Jack!

The N and C word are far worst in my opinion. I have never ever used the N word and I know only once of using the C word. I use the F word daily and not in front of woman unless they're using it. ( :mj11: ...answer the FVCKEN QUESTION)...OK, I say leave it censored.

By the way NFC stands for

Nice Fvcken C :scared and I've never used the N yet..... :nono:

none of the words offend me and I don't give a fvck if the words I use offend others. I generally don't say the "C" word, only because it doesn't come up in my daily conversations, unless of course I am asking the non english speaking maid to do something, then I use it all the time, she can't understand a word I say anyway..............

On the lake. Setting hooks!
I love the word. It's part of my everyday language. And hello: It's part of the American language. Of course some will use a derivative like "friggin". But they at heart mean the same thing. All of the so called cuss words have been or are part of the American mainstream language. Of course they have always been part of mine. I mean who when the English language was being developed decided that a certain group of words were no no. Taboo. Please. Nothing wrong with the word. Now "DEFECATE". That's another story.:142smilie

It's no big deal and should be allowed here. The variations used to get around the block on the word just look ridiculous.

On the course!
I love when people say "n" word. What the fukk is that? As soon as you say "n", everyone in the room knows you mean ******, so who are you fooling? Does it make you feel better? The people around you?

Unless you're actually calling someone that, why can't you use the word to describe what the hell you are trying to convey? I mean, shit........you are using the term "n" word to convey something, correct?

"Well, everyone got really quiet, because John said the "n" word!"

No.......Everyone got really quiet, because John said "******"!

Let's grow the fukk up, already!

Perhaps you could give an option in user CP that allows each user to choose if the words are censored or not. I'm a member of a non-gambling-related forum that does that, and it seems to work out well. Of course, I have no idea what doing that would entail.

I am not offended by the word but believe you should keep it censored. I know this is a gambling forum, and we are all adults here. But we can't use that argument.

Fock me is different than **** me? At least to me it is :SIB I certainly has to do with the way its spoken, which of course has no bearing here. Maybe we should all watch Deadwood some more and see how to really string 'em together :142smilie

This is the first time I ever wrote **** here too? :com:

Damn, my fingers feel good now :scared
