Yup! Well said, I posted UGA as a legit number 5 teams after the top 4 unbeatens, UF deserves as much consideration as UGA. LSU shouldnt even be in the conversation.
Just calling what I see. I firmly believe lsu is a better team than nd this season. I would vote nd#3, but would place them a distant 4th to oreg, lsu and bama in power ranking.
Power ranking and polls are not the same thing. I would vote lsu in the 10 range, but my POWER RANKING would be

LMAO...I take it you didn't hear the announcers say Bama is dead tired on D cus LSwho ran 75 plays late in game...If they are tired from LSwho Oregon will have them begging for oxygen tanks...I don;t care for any of these teams but this homer thing with Bama can make a person throw up.
He is an SEC guy and I get that.......but you also have to be objective which he clearly isnt. He is being subjective which is why he has LSU ahead UF and UGA, both 1 loss teams......one of which beat his LSU squad......go figure!:shrug:
He's talking power rankings man and it's his opinion. It's my opinion to...do you really believe UL could play with LSU and win on a neutral field? I don't.
Side note: LSU mopped the floor with Bama tonight....it was unreal. It says alot for Bama to come out with a W and it says alot for LSU to whip Bama's ass at the line all night and rack up the type yardage they had. It is what it is, but a hell of a game by LSU's line and RB's....Mettenburger had his best game as a Tiger too. :0008
I simply feel lsu has a better defense and will be better at nd's game than nd. It's my opinion. I certainly do not feel that my extensive track record here is that of a homer, though I could be way off base.

Bama v oreg would be a great matchup. Sabear with time vs a ridiculous offense, plus improved oreg def vs bama 's experienced oline.
Yes I do thank you, as I stated I work in sports and have been involved on the media level for over a dozen years, so I take it personally when you are trying to tell me "do I understand" when you are mighty wrong sir with your assumption of LSU........and I have close friends in the industry who will tell you when you lose 2 games it really hurts your power ranking, sure it helps when you lose to quality opponents, but 2 losses are 2 losses any way you slice it.......guys in the media industry that have done it for 20 plus years. I invite you to come on a radio show that one of them host and they will dispute your argument on how the power rankings would be done regarding 2 losses versus a team with no losses.

Look at the games and progress of teams to see who is improving...Mettenberger may have come to age tonite...the other talent around him is superior to almost anybody in the country....they have shot theirselves in the foot for top poll rankings but nobody would want to play them!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL
