I studied a LOT of stats and figures before choosing a neighborhood/school district to put my kids in. All of my research pointed to Palo Verde High School. That's why I chose Summerlim.

I also researched. I'm sure both schools are great.

Senor or double down,looks like im getting a 2br. apt. for $600 in southeast vegas,close to e.desert inn rd. and s. eastern ave.........any opinons about that area :shrug:
Anytime the word EAST is in a Vegas address, you are asking for trouble. Please ask one of us to send you a newspaper for the classifieds.
I would rather you stay at the Budget in on W Tropicana for a few weeks, and see IN PERSON the different areas of Vegas to live.
You would be WAY further ahead to live in a WAY newer property on the EXTREME west side for $900 to $1K a month. I'm not up on the rent prices in Henderson, ( Senor Capper please chime in), but western Vegas , almost to Summerlin, there are some great deals.

LAS VEGAS (AP)?Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker was found unconscious on a Las Vegas street Monday after apparently being the victim of a robbery.
Police spokesman Bill Cassell said in a statement that Walker was taken to a hospital with ?significant injuries? after being found early Monday on a street off the Las Vegas Strip.
Cassell said Walker remained in fair condition at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
A Raiders spokesman said the team was ?in the process of gathering information? and had no further comment.

thanx for the info fellas but one serious question.........come on guys is vegas really that bad to live in :shrug: everywhere i read on the net there is negative stuff about moving there (crime is high) i mean how high is it? i'm starting to picture it like madmax :scared can u walk out of the pad without being mugged or shot?? i haven't lived in the best neighbourhoods in los angeles,i've stayed in south central,mid city,van nuys,i mean i doubt its any worse than that and i think if i survived here i'll be ok there,i hope :mj07: Plus if i dont like the place,in a few months or a yr or 2, i'll move to a better place once i know the areas there :shrug:
