What's the story with the bag of coke she's smuggling in the headlight assembly?

OK. Just saw the pics of the car. Now, I would reconsider giving the car up. Someone will buy that from you, and haul it away. There are plenty of good parts to be had on that car, and thousands to made by someone.

You could easily dump it for 5 beans, if not a few bucks more.

Hell yeah, there's a lot of good parts to be sold on that thing. All the engine parts, Bose sound system. stereo, seats, window glass, good tires and rims, a shitpile of good stuff left.

But I've had these a-hole adjusters come by my place to tell me what they would give me. Fucking insurance bottom feeders. I remember being 20 years old and having some dick tell me they would give me $750 after he came and looked at my car. They ended sending me a check for over 4K when I told them where they would have it repaired at.

She just barely got clipped in the front and it did all that damage. She was about 18 inches too far into the intersection. BAM!

I know it looks bad but it doesn't take much of an impact to do that damage. I assume it didn't expel the airbags? Usually when the hit is hard enough to blow the bags they total the car because replacing bags is big $$$$. It's hard to tell from the pics if any structural damage is done (frame ect). If that's ok it's all bolt on shit and it can be fixed good as new

He said the engine seems okay but the engine carriage(?) or cradle(?) was bent. I asked him that since that was bent the engine must have taken a hellava jolt. He said he would find out more about the engine once they start digging in. I guess the dollar figure of the repair can go up for sure.

He probably means the lower engine mount (again I can't tell from the pics). That's not a big deal. If the a/c condenser and radiator are ruptured that will definately run the estimate higher. Also if any steering components got hit/bent that will add to it. If she got clipped from the side and it just peeled the nose off.... $7600 is prolly WAY too high. Seriously

Seriously, I hope everyone is fine, and I concur with Keysor you can get the check directly to you and find who you want to fix it or not to fix it.

Jack, ,,,,,I have a car rental company and deal with insurance companies everyday. First of all, you do not have to have it repaired where they tell you. Secondly, you don't have to have it repaired at all. Thirdly, if they give you a check for the repairs then you keep the car and sell it for salvage yourself and put the money in your pocket. They only get the car if they total it out...........I am heading out the door right now, but shoot me an email and I'll get you my number and you can call me in the morning and I'll help you out.
