I'm going to try the "STEPS" to win a seat this year. I'm only going to invest $150 for now and see what happens.

That $150 will give me 20 entries into the STEP 1.

I'm going to play all 20 STEP 1 tournies before moving to STEP 2.

Once I finish all the STEP 1's I'll play all the STEP 2's. Once I finish the STEP 2's I'll go back and play all the STEP 1's I won from STEP 2.

After I'm finished with all the STEP 2's I'll move on to STEP 3 and so forth.

so far I have played 2 STEP 1 tournies and won 2 STEP 2 tickets so I'm off to a good start.

I'll post my progress through this plan on the forum and we'll see what happens.

Here's the bracket on how it all works:

Have gotten to step 3 TWICE so far and got knocked out in 6th both times which put me out:sadwave:

Jack dont keep investing the the $7.50 unless you HAVE to, you may be able to get thru now so why waste all the other funds:mj07:

Good luck and hope to join you there:00hour

It seems like once you get going the catch is to hang in and not get beat early. There are many chances to keep going back and forth.

I take it that the more money that you invest then the better you can increase your odds?
Sounds like it.
A bit of a turn-off or I might try it myself if a $150 investment could give me a fair chance.
Not that hold-em is really my game.

somebody check out my book problem or I'll be forced to lose my faith in mankind

We have a weekly tourney to send someone to the Main Event that I set up. It lasts for 25 weeks, we just got through with week 19 last night and yours truly has a decent size lead heading into the homestretch :00hour . Always wanted to do a tourney like this and it has gone very smoothly after putting much thought into the setup of it. Hope to see some of you MJ fellas out there.

I'd be very interested in how you ran this. I might wanna do the same thing for next year. If you don't want to post it on here, get my e-mail from Jack... Thanks!
