so where are the gun nuts at today? funny they never show up to these threads.

too soon? hardly think its too soon for the gun fanatics to realize what an actual issue guns are. how many more shootings need to happen before something is done?

every week something like this happens and they brush it off with "should arm more people". sick.

Get rid of the guns get rid of the fcking goddamn guns....it's gross and all the gun nuts have excuses for it.....arm everyone or arm no one...
You nuts want guns allowed fine...,every person over the age of 5 should learn to use one and carry one at all times...then these would actually be fair fights....not this pussy chit walk into somewhere and fire....Arm every fucking single person or arm no one. These gun nuts and hunters for sport are just deranged,...fck guns....but people will defend them cause a bunch of scared of the British free men put it in the constitution 250 years ago....did I mention fuck guns.....sick sick sick

I am against Assault Rifles being made available to the public.

I am for handguns, shotguns, rifles and the like to be made available to the public.

This is my standpoint and I believe in it.

Having fired both, I feel that there is a significant difference to AR's being banned and not the other.

I also believe that if more people carried, like I do, there would be less shootings or at the very least less casualties in a mass shooting.

I carry often. Not all the time and not as much as I think I should. I believe I have what it takes to take down anyone threatening the lives of others. That is why I carry. It has nothing to do with "just exercising my right" it is about safety and protection.

if everybody carries a weapon though, what is the need then for police?

I am sure there are plenty of people with a mind stable enough to carry a weapon.

but giving them to more people just increases the risk someone goes on a shooting spree when they go off the deep end.

and the chances of someone taking down a shooter like this seems slim. first of all someone at the incident would have to be carrying and secondly what happens when the shooters, like this guy apparently, start wearing body armor? or is carrying an assault rifle against your pistol?

I would be fine with a difficult and arduous process to acquire a permit to carry a firearm.

I do believe it is too easy as it is.

Maybe that isn't the answer, but could help.

If outlawing any and all firearms to the public were to save these children's lives and we could take it back, I would. I would in a second.

You can ban guns all day...you'll never gt rid of them....

These sickos want to go out in a blaze of glory...they want a name for themselves..

Books written and movies made...and it will happen.

I don't know the answer...the same media we get our news from is the same media that has to report it..

God bless the kids and victims.....

Can someone please, please give me a sane, logical reason assault rifles should be available for civilians to use?

And any answer having to do with the 2nd amendment doesn't count.

You need to change the heading to the World not just this country. In China today, a man walked into a school, stabbed and killed 22 people. WTF is wrong with people?

no, wrong.

the children were NOT killed. they were injured.

this is horrible in both cases but look at the difference between gun and no gun.

Let's try to keep this one out of the gutter.

I think the biggest problem is that every time one of these fuckups does this...it emboldens other people with a screw loose to do something like this.

This. And the news goes bananas over it.

Im not smart enough to say u should or shouldnt be able to get a gun but I am to understand that the laws wont change in my lifetime. I dont own one I dont need one. I dont think anyone should be able to walk in get a permit and then get a gun over a little period of wait time. All i can say is how sick and evil a person can be to kill a class of kids. i have kids as many do on thus forum and I cant wait till they walk through the door so I can give them both a hug and kiss. My prayers go out to all those affected by this senseless act.
