I may hold the record for longest lurker before registering so I know them all-here is my top ten

1-Cow-no words to describe

2-nick Douglas-best fade ever

3-Nolan Dalla-2nd best fade ever

4-Beantown Jim-no one has caused so many threads

5-Worm44-say what you must, the guy knew how to pick em

6-Scott from Atl--pictures say a thousand words

7-Freelancc-said so much with so little

8-Fletcher-based only on run on sentences

9-Box and one-for good solid writeups

10-yyz-for biggest "prick" poster

Agent, was this the guy who wanted you to come play golf in NY? Didn't this turn out to be Worm? What a stiff!

1. Madjack
2. Intense Operorator
3. AR
4. Kniefl
5. Box and One
6. Gman
7. Ajoytoy
8. Flether
9. Dr. Strangelove
10. Toronto-Vigilante

EDIT.. I am a putz... forgot Raymond, I/E, taoist, blackman, and many others that make this site a very solid place for handicapping information and entertainment.

No particular order... just some guys I have come to see over the years that I think are class acts. With that said Kramer thanks for mentioning me but this is a hall of fame and some guys have a far better record and reputation than I. Thanks for the effort jack and hopefully if it takes off I'll be on the ballot in the future, right now I am happy being the Art Monk.

Cheers
Irish

Titus34 is an automatic nomination. This guy is as solid a handicapper as I have seen anywhere. Had I known that this nomination was going on, I would have posted this sooner.

I am a new member of this board, but I have followed his picks for some time.

This is a tough one. Seems like everyone has forgotten one of the best:

MADJACK himself!!!!

From the times of Nolan D, Raymond, Cow, Dr Strange, (different name then), Fletcher, Cie Grant, and so many from 5 years ago+ to now..... Have to think about this one. This board has changed alot from when I first joined. To be honest, I believe the capping and statements in threads about a certain game were better than they are now. And of course Bahama Momma couldnt be forgotten. And my friend Tom, (TJ BELL).

And Vicc and Titus would round out 10 right off the top of my head without even looking at the list of candidates.... There are so many more.

And thanks for those of you who even thought of putting me on the list. Appreciate the thought.

Havent been posting much because of some of the chit that people toss around here. WTF for I have no idea. It used to be about beating your local or online and thats it.... No egos, no right, no wrong. And of course going to Las Vegas for SB. Man that was fun the year I went. ANyways, off topic now. Use those 10 for now. Ill update it later I guess.

Ill start

Jack:

If you do this, I think it should be broken down into catagories. Kinda like the academy awards. Maybe every February after the superbowl you can nominate five or so posters to win a, lets call it instead of an Oscar, maybe a "Hokie" in honor of HokieFan or a "Jack" or whatever you or the forum wants to call it.

Have catagories each year such as:

Best football handicapper-college.
Best football handicapper-pro.
Best basketball handicapper-college.
Best basketball handicapper-pro.
Best baseball handicapper.
Best overall handicapper.
Best overall writeups.
Best supporting handicapper (guy who gives the most good luck posts)
Best political poster
Best religous poster
Best thread non sports
Best thread sports
Best post non sports
Best post sports
Funniest post
Funniest poster
Best Past Poster

You might create certain criteria such as a certain amount of time here or minimun posts. You could create a poll so that readers could vote for their favorites. You could have a selection committee.

Then you could also create an annual Hall of Fame for something similar to the Razzies, shall we call it say the "Vyrus" awards:

We could vote on catagories each year from a list of five or so for:

Worst football handicapper-college.
Worst football handicapper-pro.
Worst basketball handicapper-college.
Worst basketball handicapper-pro.
Worst baseball handicapper.
Worst overall handicapper.
Worst overall writeups.
Worst supporting handicapper (guy who attacks other handicappers picks)
Worst political poster
Worst religous poster
Worst thread non sports
Worst thread sports
Worst post non sports
Worst post sports
Dumbest post
Most obnoxous poster

Again, certain criteria can be set. The winner of each catagory will go into the Hall of Fame which could be set up as a seperate forum.

To get things started, my vote for worst post of this year will go to this one.
