Another year has come and gone. Time to start a fresh thread for the Reading Log.

Keep track of what you are reading in this thread. Feel free to rate, recommend, and/or review them.

Once again, I want to put time into learning Spanish, so that may interfere with my reading. Said the exact same thing last year and didn't learn a single word.

Just finished Play Dead by Harlan Coben.....I am huge fan of his, read em all, but this was his 1st book written in 1990 and although story was good, it could have been at least 100 pages shorter and he definitely improved with age

Just started the second in the Stieg Larrson trilogy

completed 34 books last year....I keep em all for the year and then go trade em a big new batch for the next year :0074

WTF you wanna learn Spanish for?

What's the plan for learning it, maybe I'll join you?

I guess you know there are Rosetta Stone torrents out there, right?

I think it would be a useful thing to learn.

I have Rosetta Stone. I think it could be kind of fun.

I'm thinking about getting the RS for Mandarin Chinese for me and my son.

I think it would be a fun project for us to do together.

the PlayAways are neat little devices....they are preloaded MP3 players that you check

or you can go the old route and check out the Books on CDs

or the new and fastest growing is the OverDrive downloads...you sign in from home and download whatever you want to your computer or any other external device such as IPods, Ipads, Sony Readers etc

good luck!

yeah, 1/2 billion dollar company stinks :0003

buy one sometime and see what happens ... and it also shows how many people do not realize the value of the public library system and its all FREE ... PLUS your tax dollars are what keep them open...why not USE them:shrug:

and oh ya, I don't know anything about this stuff :0074
