13 people from our group spent $0 in casino

belterra didnt keep records of alcohol consumed by our group or it would be no brainer to have us back:mj07: :mj07:

I just don't get this. does craps not count? Does video poker not count? Every time I bought in to play craps, I but my money on the table with my card.

As far as comps, I never get comped for chit. I've played dozens of hours at Horseshoe Indiana, and the last time I was there, I had 7 bucks built up, lmfao! I don't get the whole system I guess, but I do know every time I'm there, I see people rolling through that buffet line by just swiping that card hanging on the lanyard around their neck. :wtf:

PS I think Belterra is much nicer than Horseshoe, but that's jmo.

I know Angela and I went through at least 1000 on Roulette (Ang's favorite) and ended up winning 250 or so, but we WERE gambling and having fun....just didn't lose to them or use their card because we didn't think we'd be back...:toast:

and, if we need to pay for rooms so be it, even at a discounted rate. Fawk Belterra and their arrogance....I always saw people from our group at the casino

Just got back from playing golf with Swig and was telling him about it and we said same as you--none of us used are card--thinking we wouldn't be back.

He asked if he could go again--I told him I didn't know --everyone was a little embarrased last time when he and Emily played golf with no shoes. :)

I didn't pay for one thing while I was there, due to the card, I think.

No matter how long you're there, use the card.

Rooms were comped, food was comped, golf was comped and Jack gave us $40 when we got there for golf.

I'll vote for Belterra if it's in the mix.

Kosar, I'll let Amanda know you're thinking of her.

6-5, what a blast at the crap table! Good times!

Horseshoe can get us "Casino Rate" for rooms but we're gonna have to plan way ahead for this so we can get on the golf course without any problems if we have as many as last year. I think 32 golfers played.

It doesn't matter to me where we have it and I'll get a sponsor for some of the stuff.

Discuss so we can plan this out.

St Louis doesn't sound bad to me either

Hell, I bet Wayne can get something setup pretty nicely in Bowling Green

Belterra can be fine too.

You guys decide and soon and we'll put it together.

amanda's a legend

i get asked alot about how my 1 armed friend is doing

She's doing great!

I go to lunch with 2-foot Tommy 4-5 days a week.

They are going to Chicago tomorrow for an update on her bionic arm. They did some nerve surgery a while back. I hope it works out for her. Supposed to work on her thoughts.

Hopefully she won't be "thinking", "So help me, if Kosar 7's out, I'm gonna go Steve Austin on his ass!"

No, not the wrestler! :mj07:

Am I showing my age? :142smilie

That Crystal Quarry course in St. Louis is kind of different. Boiler is right. The front has some novelty holes. Number one is one of the steepest holes you will ever play, like a 320 yd par 4. Then you play along some bluffs with narrow fairways and lots of water hazard. The back is flat with two par 5s reachable in two for the scramblers.

This area has plenty of fine courses to choose from. I recommend: http://www.mobluffs.com/
This course is awesome. Very wooded and well manicured. You are guaranteed to see a few deer in the fairways, turkeys and the beverage carts are always moving with delightful attendants.

Ameristar has a better hotel than the Harrahs. Both are 10 minutes from Lambert airport. Ameristar opened about a year ago and has venetian-style rooms with the step down, kick ass, kick back area. Overlooks Missouri River. Couch and separate flat screen TV. Asian hookers.

I would be happy to work with you Handicapper and see what we could get at this hotel. I have booked large groups there for work so it may give leverage, may not. (maybe Jack will play some roulette this time for chrissakes).
