I'm just so confused that I don't read stories like this with golden retrievers :popcorn2 Sorry Joker but it's tragedies like this that need to wake people the fuck up.

What were the parents thinking? Why take the risk? So insanely stupid.

Ugh, I cannot imagine the guilt these parents are living with.

No doubt. Several lives ruined in a preventable tragedy. The parents are separated, so mom and possibly stepdad are the caregivers. The dog is being tested for steroids and rabies.

Yeah, that is what the world needs, more mauling deaths of innocent four year old girls. You're an idiot. You have no idea what the fucking circumstances were and even less of an idea of what was going on in that household. What if the dog was sick? What if the dog was being used as a fight dog and somehow was let into the house? The only thing you care about is the opportunity to pound your internet chest about how much you hate Pit Bulls. We get it, you're scared of dogs, quit crying about it already.
For every one of these stories, there are stories of pit bulls saving lives too. The fact is that not all Pit Bulls are killers, just like dentists aren't doctors.

Hope this helps,
FDC

Are there really as many stories of pit bulls saving lives as killing them? The singer doesn't count. I will happily abandon my theory that families with small children shouldn't have pit bulls if there is in fact just as much of a chance that the pit bull will save the life of the young one as kill it.

Go to google and type pit bull saves. Enough stories to keep you busy for years. They all count.

2792 attacks from pit bulls noted in study done for years 1982-2012.
Next ten breeds combined had approximately 1350 attacks on humans which is close to 50 percent. Did not see any noted attacks by golden retrievers.
Only a fool would subject a child to being near a pit bull.
For you to suggest otherwise puts you in the same category.
I googled it just like you said.
