With oil now under $90 a barrel, shouldnt this be reflected at the pump by now?

You would think it would be back in the $2's range, yet here its still 3.63.

WTF?

Under three in Jersey today. Where are all the clueless shills who said i didn't know what i was talking about when i said these prices would fall by election time? They had every excuse in the world to protect those oil companies profits.

What about what the grocery stores charge for staple items?

like beer?

Cost of milk, bread, meat, etc went up due to higher energy costs (higher costs of flower & grain etc) but NEVER does it come back down.

We've been paying up to $4, now it's $3.50ish. Hell, we would pay if it was $5. They got us. We have to drive from point A to point B. If I was in the oil biz, I wouldn't drop the price either. We HAVE to drive. Like I said, they got us.

$3.63 is about the best I've seen in the Wilson/Goldsboro, NC area. I understand part of the problem in NC and SC are the pipelines that supply the Southeast. They were damaged when the last hurricanes hit the Gulf area and the supply went to other parts of the country. A week ago, Deputies were guarding the few gas stations in the Charlotte area who even had gas and there were lines there reminiscent of the gas shortage of the mid-1970's. The supply is expected to normalize by next week and we should see prices start to drop. I sure as Hell hope so! I'm currently working as a hospice nurse and am averaging about 2-1/2 tanks a week with only $.38/mile reimbursement. :(
