What is this, fag tag team?

I demand an AIDS test.

Hey, you want to argue clean, I can do that. That's how I started.

You want to go with insults, I can do that too. Your little smears of racist and Bunker have no effect on me, I embrace them.

But calling me a neocon?

Them's fighting words.

More evidence. Gun control -- agitprop term for CITIZEN DISARMAMENT - leads to MORE CRIME.

Gun control and crime

In 1976, Washington, D.C., instituted one of the strictest gun-control laws in the country. The murder rate since that time has risen 134 percent (77.8 per 100,000 population) while the overall rate for the country has declined 2 percent. Washington, D.C., politicians find it easy to blame Virginia’s less-stringent gun laws for the D.C. murder rate. Yet Virginia Beach, Virginia’s largest city with almost 400,000 residents, has had one of the lowest rates of murder in the country — 4.1 per 100,000.

In New York City, long known for strict regulation of all types of weapons, only 19 percent of the 390 homicides in 1960 involved pistols. By 1972, this proportion had jumped to 49 percent of 1,691. In 1973, according to the New York Times, there were only 28,000 lawfully possessed handguns in the nation’s largest city, but police estimated that there were as many as 1.3 million illegal handguns there.

In 1986, Maryland banned small, affordable handguns called Saturday night specials. Within two years, Maryland’s murder rate increased by 20 percent, surpassing the national murder rate by 33 percent. Then Maryland passed a one-gun-a-month law. Yet between 1997 and 1998, 600 firearms recovered from crime scenes were traced to Maryland gun stores. Virginia, one of only two other states with a similar law, ranked third as a source of guns used by criminals in other states.

On the other hand, New Hampshire has almost no gun control and its cities are rated among the safest in the country. Across the border in Massachusetts, which has very stringent gun-control laws, cities of comparable size have two to three times as much crime as New Hampshire.

Vermont has the least restrictive gun-control law. It recognizes the right of any Vermonter who has not otherwise been prohibited from owning a firearm to carry concealed weapons without a permit or license. Yet Vermont has one of the lowest crime rates in America, ranking 49 out of 50 in all crimes and 47th in murders.

States which have passed concealed-carry laws have seen their murder rate fall by 8.5 percent, rapes by 5 percent, aggravated assaults by 7 percent and robbery by 3 percent.

Texas is a good example. In the early 1990s, Texas’s serious crime rate was 38 percent above the national average. Since then, serious crime in Texas has dropped 50 percent faster than for the nation as a whole. All this happened after passage of a concealed-carry law in 1994.

What is it you illiberals, you evidence-hating commie sickos, love about seeing innocent citizens
slaughtered?

Why is it illiberals are too scared to let reality pop their little pink bubbles?

You freaking cultists, move to North Korea stat.

Freemen carry arms. Disarmed men are SLAVES.

You fucksticks would just love a world in which only cops, criminals, and thugs protecting Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank are the only ones able to defend themselves - everyone else is open to being slaughtered.

You sick pink fucks make me puke.

I'm still waiting for you guys to refute my facts regarding gun deaths in this country. So let me take another approach...

Since the start of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, we've lost approx. 5000 American troops to hostile actions in those countries (4265 in Iraq and 673 in Afghanistan).

During that same time frame, March of 2003 to present, we've had somewhere in the neighborhood of 70,000 deaths by gun murder in the U.S.!!!

The REAL war is right here in the streets of America. If you guys truly believe that MORE guns on our streets are going to result in less gun murders in this country, then you're more delusional than I gave you credit for.

Changing your position on civilian disarmament?

What is this hatred you illiberals have for people defending themselves? The fact is, for all your mocking sniggering smears of the character of gun owning citizens, they use their weapons to deter literally millions of crimes per year.

When you disarm ordinary people, you turn on a green light for criminals and nuts. 'Gun control,' to employ the lefty agitprop, is the criminal/kook's best friend. This is not an opinion, it is fact. They have interviewed criminals and fear of being shot by victims is practically the only thing keeping them in check.

You never know when someone's going to crack. The liberals says, just call the police. Well, the police won't protect anybody. They'll just show up after the rampage is underway, and cower in their SWAT gear behind their tanks until it's over, see Columbine and Virginia Tech.

Allowing ordinary people the one effective means of defending themselves, owning and freely carrying guns, is the only serious choice we have if we want to stop people being slaughtered in the event a kook goes off.

The solution is not to heap on more gun restrictions to disarm civilians but to remove them. If the criminal or kook knows he has a good chance of being shot himself, he'll be deterred in many cases. And in the ones he isn't, there's a much better chance he'll only kill one or two -- rather than one or two dozen -- before he's put down himself by an armed citizen.

are you talking to me ? what does this rant have to do with me ? did you read my post ? I don't want to take your gun away.. chances are, though guys like you get killed with your own gun, why would I want to stop that ? why do I get the feeling you couldn't defend yourself with a sherman tank ?

the real war is in your deluded mind(i`m sure you`d like to outlaw dissenting opinions,too)....... here we live in the most affluent,FREE society in the world(WITH AN AMENDMENT SPECIFICALLY PLACED IN OUR CONSTITUTION THAT FORBIDS GOVERNMENTAL CONFISCATION OF WEAPONS FROM THE CITIZENRY),yet you still can`t get past that homogenized college p.c. groupthink that some ex-hippie professor pounded into your mushy skull...

it`s gonna be awhile...so for now, chill out..head over to "urban outfitters" and get yourself some edgy, new anarchist camo`s.....or a che` t-shirt.... and take your imaginary friends along("madame speaker")

btw...and i`m still waiting for you to answer my question regarding crimes prevented by private gun ownership....

of course,you can`t...

So. You have no rebuttal or any means of refuting cold hard statistics.

Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Japan, Sweden - All have strict handgun laws. All have less than 100 gun murders per year.

The US has liberal handgun laws and we have 10,000 gun murders per year!!!

Now, regarding your question?

?Objection your honor. Counsel is leading the witness.?

?Objection sustained. Counsel, you know full well those statistics don?t exist and the witness cannot prove a negative. That question will be stricken from the record.?

?Thank you your honor?.

first off,stop with the imaginary friends...it`s embarrassing...lol

if we all stopped driving, there would be no more traffic deaths....and if we all stopped drinking, there would be no more alcoholics...yada yada yada...

but,unfortunately for you,we live in a free society...with all it`s benefits...and all it`s warts...

look,fidel...here it is in a nutshell(great analogy)...the second amendment is what it is, and it means what it says...

there's really no difference between the gun controllers and their attempts to violate the civil rights of all americans than the k.k.k. in its attempts to abridge the civil rights of a subset of americans.....

so while your waiting for barack to try abridge yet more of our rights..hamstring our economy....to subvert the constitution..... and if the shopping for camo`s idea doesn`t cut it,maybe you could turn your back yard into a zen rock garden with lots of hanging lanterns(and when you get that job, some cool buddha statues).....:grins:

So in other words, we should expect to see a significant reduction in posts from Nelson and DTB? Not to group the two together... at least Nelson has the sack to admit it.
