I have never seen a Chic Fil A doing poorly.

Then again, I hear they have a pretty rigorous vetting process for potential owners, and with a Christian background, your ownership of a gambling website may hurt your chances :sadwave:

I'm actually thinking Meineke or Aamco :popcorn2

Although there are about 10 others on my list.

Just starting to educate myself on the various opportunities.

Here are a few more....

Lawn Doctor

Regis Hair Salons

NAPA Auto Parts

GNC Nutrition store

Pressure Washing

Epoxy Flooring

CTi Concrete Technology

Just off the top of my head. Getting info on all of those and still looking.

Any feedback on those or different ones is appreciated.

I think I'll avoid the food and beverage biz.

Jack: There is a business that involves little capital investment I was looking into after a friend started one up and was doing well. I forget the name of the franchises, but it is kind of like an assisted living thing where you send people to the homes of people that need extra help....old, disabled, or temporarily injured people. It is non-medical. Sometimes you help them clean the house, other times you clean them. Who knows, just whatever they need. It's non-medical care, so you don't to pay nurse wages. My buddy said it started slowly, but once he started networking with hospitals, clients started coming in pretty regularly.

Yeah, there are a few of the senor care franchises that I just glanced by. Maybe I'll take a closer look. My son's GF was actually working for one of those guys in West Virginia. All she did was sit in the house from midnight to 8am and make sure he didn't sleep walk or fall down the stairs or some shit. They paid her around $9 an hour. Wonder how much they charged the old man  $30 or more? Wonder if Medicare pays anything?

Instead of buying a franchise go to Vegas and play every single event of the WSOP. That's what I'd do anyway.

That might not go over well around here.

Not sure if there is any insurance help, but I think you charge over $20 an hour. If you develop a big enough client base, the money can start to snow ball.
