Auto Insurance guys or somebody who knows

Went to get my tire fixed today. Slow leak. It wasn't the tire, I have a cracked rim. Will auto insurance cover that under the comprehensive?

The thought just hit me that they might. A used rim is $265 plus $15 to mount and balance. May as well ask, huh?

Comp is usually theft, glass, or fire. You might have a claim under collision.

That's most likely what caused it.

That's why you have to write a letter to the DOT saying you hit a pot hole as a good will gesture by them. Insurance will not cover this. :0008

By the way, if you don't have one of these you should and you'll thank me later. Can fill a completely flat tire in about 5 minutes. Stick it in the lighter thing and bingo. They're only 30 some bucks and come in handy. :0074
