They would given some $$ "back" to you if coverage was in force but you made the decision to go without coverage. Why should they pay for your mistake?

I know this might be a little over your pea brain but if you paid attention they owe me about 7 times this amount !!!! If you have nothing positive to contribute here S T F U :sadwave:

Food for thought - Never finance a car, if you can't buy it outright you cant afford it.

All of the cars I own are paid for in full, but I guarantee you I have shopped around for insurance in the past, but never been without it. It sucks the situation you are in, because I hate paying those bills every month but have never been without insurance and I have never needed it the past 10 years.

I need some advice here... I recently let my car insurance lapse because they where raising my rates ALOT because my wife had a speeding ticket so i wanted to shop around for another company. Well guess what happens right after that my daughter takes the car to school and runs it into a guardrail and messes up the front end and can barely steer it now.I am thinking it will be totalled, what should i do get another insurance company and wait a month or 2 then make a claim because i still owe 4 years on it.

I really am in a mess so what should i do here???

I have no idea, I don't have a criminal mind. I always keep full coverage and all my vehicles are paid off:shrug: I certainly would not file a false claim after jumping to another insurance company, that is fraud and time in the slammer if you get caught. kurby

Not to mention he is talking about fucking a DIFFERENT company than the one he had before, LOL.

I love how people pay for coverage, which IS provided, then are shitty when they don't have a claim and act like they are owed something. You can't make this shit up. :moon:

Get on your knees and thank god your daughter or no one else was injured. Then you would be financially ruined. You already tried to beat the system and got away with it. A 16k bill should be a lesson in life that you got away with it. Take it to a hack shop pay in cash. Fix the car. Insure it and be thankful. Imagine if people were hurt ? Your daughter would have went to jail for driving without insurance and you would have been next in front of judge. BE SMART. You put in a claim you will fuck yourself and family. If you wait insure the car then claim it. Where would you say it happened? Dont you think they will send out a claim adjuster to the scene ? So you got away with no jail but now you want to risk going. :mj07:

i guarantee that EVERYBODY would be thinking the same thing if they were in sandog's shoes.

at least have that THOUGHT pass through their mind for a minute or two.

tough crowd.

I realize you were kidding about this Jack, but you shouldn't lead folks on like this.....

If you weren't... well, I'm one that wouldn't do this. Absolutely no different than stealing a car from your neighbor or anybody else for that matter. Just because it is a "faceless" insurance company doesn't change the crime - just changes who you are doing it to.

But then again, I would never even drive a car without insurance. Screw the damage to the car - what if you hit someone and hurt them and had to pay all their medical bills? You'd be out a lot more than $15-$20K for the car.

It's no wonder people in our country have no personal responsibility anymore and just want the government to give them free food, housing, and healthcare - without even getting a job.

The concept behind this thread has really blown me away.

If you do file a fake report be very prepared to get caught. Ther are many certain things that remain consistant on and around cars that heve been in wrecks. These guys will come in take a quick walk around the vehicle, look under the vehicle and feel and take a smaple of the damaged metal.Thet will come back and inform you that you are a liar and ask if you would care to change your story.

The very same thing happened to a friend of mine over 10 years ago. Never under estimate the other side. They have dealt with guys like you thousands of time and have got to be pretty damn good at it.

But indeed keep us updated :0corn :0corn
