And honestly I can't see them winning this game. After the season that Carolina has had and the two games they won in the playoffs this spread should easily be 7.5. I confidently can say I don't believe in fixes but at the same time I don't believe it was an accident Wilson passed last year instead of handing the ball to Lynch. The NFL needs a real feel good story for the off season this year. They will get it with either team winning but it will feel much better with Peyton getting his.

Denvers D will get to Cam and Cam is a rhythm QB you break that rythm and the will goes down too. Peyton can feed off of this and he will.

I work for a large car dealership and get voices and opinions from a wide range of people. Most of them are bettors. All I've heard so far was if Carolina plays the way they have its over. I think many believe it's already gift wrapped and they just need to open it. Not so fast...

Even if Carolina wins there's no way their covering the 3, 4 or whatever it is by kickoff.

Gl fellas

2. Turnover Ratio. Forty-one of the 47 Super Bowl champs had a positive turnover ratio; 21 of the 47 had a +10 or more turnover ratio in the regular season. While the Broncos turnover differential was 0, the Seahawks led the NFL with a +20 turnover ratio.

broncos finsihed season at - 4 to's negative that is Panthers PLUS PLUS 21 in TO's i'll lay 14 points to denver thats how strong that stat is even in regseason and playoffs those who cannot hold onto ball and surely manning is a joke with 9 td's and SEVENTEEN INT's

YOU have to respect that stat Cam newton QB rating exceededs mannings by a mile.

:00hour

Final score will be like these Panthers 35 Broncos 18 Panthers 28 - broncos 9 panthers 52 broncos 21

at this point in his career, manning is an absolute shell of his former self....and he`s playing an absolute beast of a defense this week......a defense with strength at all 3 levels.....

logically,Denver should not win this game...every swinging dick on this forum is aware of that fact(Carolina`s easily been the better team, basically all year long...and they`re finishing very strong)...will it play out logically?...who knows?....one thing I do know...the usual contrarians will all pick Denver and hope something odd happens so they can burnish their forum credentials....if Denver loses?...they were supposed to lose...

rinse ,repeat..

The way the game is SUPPOSED to play out is, Carolina wins by 4 points because that's what the season stats say it should be. Yep. Carolina is the better team. The line was 4 because that's where it is supposed to be. Flip a coin from there. I'll play the side the books need and take the extra point or so that's over the 4. :0008

Normally for this game I would just root for Carolina. I have been riding Carolina all year and I like the team and I like the story. I'm tired of Manning and sick of that story and usually root against him but I think betting Denver in the Super Bowl is a money making opportunity and will be taking that chance.

Just my opinion. Finally I'm looking forward to watching a Super Bowl the Ravens aren't playing.

Scrapman I've read the turnover ratio. I understand it and respect it. I guess I don't base many of my picks off stats and ratios. What were the stats, ratios and odds of Denver making it this far half way thru the season? I'll bet it was a way worse percentage that this turnover ratio. Manning has played 2 1/4 games since his return and here are his numbers

43 for 78 for 467 yards 2tds and zero interceptions

Turnovers are impossible to cap no matter what's happened in previous games.

I'm still trying to figure how the heck Denver is even here. But now that they are it's anyone's game. Even if the Broncos don't pull it out they will bring the cash home I promise you that

But they did beat the defending champs who never even held a lead in that game. Now all of a sudden because the pattiorlts lose everyone points to their injuries? I didn't see anyone mentioning a Pats team that was depleted because of injuries going into that game.

And who did Carolina beat to get here? A shot Seattle team with a Wilson who hasn't been the same since banging Sierra? And Arizona? Cmon Carson Palmer is not that great and he never would have made it that far without Larry and the rest of the supporting cast. And Zona almost blew it against a really banged up packer team.

Denver beat THE team to beat.

LETS Go back 2 phugging years .every one thought Denvers superbowl experience would make them win right?
OOOOOOOOOOOO Yes NFC was favored conference that year too BUT flipped to Denver - 2 1/2

EVERYTHING was set up huge and tons of manning belivers were rushing for second half bail outs.

OOOO yeah Denver was a FLAT 0 in to's that year Seahwks were fat PLUS modderfugging 20 in TO"s

THEY are NOT going to lose within the spread

trust me if you think even 5 1/2 points buys you a winning ticket or a 7 point teaser does than your setting yourself up for dissapointment

UUUUUUH UH THE SCORES ARE DONE BY YARDS PER POINT.

if it's all offense you will get very high scores both sides if it's going D vs D something like 28 - 14 , 0r 17 - 6 which is nail biter territory BUT i cannot fathom a denver dominating game with almost no run game all season.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/den/denver-broncos

Plaese use your head on FEB 8th i want all of you to be on the right side.

FHHHUCK the manning retirement thing he should have retired two years ago after the joke performance he put up in the Bowl vs the almost rookie team seahawks

I'm hoping the bust 49ers smoking of denver the largest margin of victory ever 45 PHUGGIN POINTS 55 -10 FINAL :mj07:

COMON MANNING BRING YOUR DINK AND DONK PASS GAME INTO PANTHERS d THEY WILL EAT YOU UP.
