So. Cal
here we go again....the sec world beaters.

ark-uga-tenn-aub all have proven to be average at best.

bama-kent-s car arent really that good

miss-miss st-vandy....world beaters

leaves two good teams in the sec, lsu and fla......
just like most other bcs conferences in america, 1 or 2 really good teams.

partially true this year How many 8th place teams in other conferences beat 9th ranked teams?? (kentucky) UCLA (3rd best in WEAK ASS PAC 1 conference)goes to Utah and gets beat by 30 every team in sec would beat utah!! SEC is down this year some but other conferences have only 2 good teams every year!! NOT THE SEC!! On the flip side no conference has 2 teams as good as LSU and FLORIDA this year!! So yep SEC is strongest conference!! Didnt last year prove anything to you people??

I hate to harp on things but: To smart ass people(or should I say dumb ass) who call the SEC world beaters etc!!

Well your exactly right!!
Most National Championships
Most Bowl games and wins in bowls

I bet if you researched it SEC has the best record of wins against all other conferences over the history of college football!!!

FACTS SPEAKS FOR THEMSELVES

ROLL F#$%ING TIDE YOU TELL'EM. The SEC is the best confrence in college football bar none. The PAC 10 is week at best. So USC beat Nebraska who said they were back anyway except for Corso and Herb. Those two don't know $hit. UCLA was embarassed by Utah "REALLY". :142smilie :nono: :nono:

LSU is the team I would and will take in the BCS title game. By the way ALABAMA is not weak.:SIB :SIB :00hour

SEC guy here, but PAC-10 is probably the 2nd best conference out there. AZ St., Oregon, Cal are all quality teams and will compete with USC. Funny thing is, I think the Big East is the 3rd:142smilie

Big 10 and Big 12 are not that impressive and the ACC is comical imo. BC and Miami were supposed to make that one of the best conferences

So. Cal
I tend to agree Skipper! This year anyways

which is it:

the weak ass pac-1
or
the 2nd best conference

you guys are hysterical, i'm sure in your world there will never be a year where the sec isnt the best conference in the country...no matter what.

personally i'd love to see sc play lsu as my sideline handicapping angle will apply....caroll v miles will be the biggest mismatch since pete caroll took on bob stoops

UCLA was never the 3rd best Pac-10 team....weren't even the 4th best....

But I'd put USC/CAL up against any two teams from any conference.....and I'd put USC/CAL/ORE as being better than any 3 teams from any other conference...

Plus, there's no one as bad as Miss St in the Pac-10...

Did someone really say if USC plays an SEC team that it'll be the same result as UF vs OSU? Wow really? :142smilie ..... USC hasn't lost by 27 combined points since Pete Carroll took over...now they're going to lose by 27 in one game? GL taking that bet..

So Cal
West coast People will give the Pac10 love.
East coast people give the SEC love.
IMO it's 2 different brands of football.
In the Pac10 your more likely to see more passing
less Def. more action
In the SEC you get alot of run first offense ,
great defense , and plenty of hard hits.

Me being a west coast guy for the past 12 yrs, personally I prefer the Pac10.

I really think 2 teams from the Pac10 go to a BCS game. USC for the NC , and Ore for the Rose Bowl. IMO oregon may end up a 1 loss team.
the 1 loss coming at the hands of USC.

BTW I'd take USC... LARGE.

Glad to see you like USC large!! Looking at the capping on this site makes me feel real good about LSU if they get there!! I already know what will happen if they get there but alittle extra tingle is always good!! Everybody loved Ohio St last year DRILLING!! SEC is Special!! Run first offense?? You watched any SEC games in this century??? You saying USC and Cal could beat LSU and Florida?? What A joke!!! USC might but CAL couldnt beat either plus a few other teams!! SEC schedule is murder and Pac 1 is cup cake city!! Oregon sux!! Team speed against slowest team in the country(Michigan) got everybody fooled!! I hope LSU can survive murders row(playing Florida twice) USC play any 4 teams as tough as that?? NOPE!!! So we can put an end to the BS of the PAC 1 cup cake walk to the big game!! Actually I hope some high school like Oregon St last year beats USC puzzies ass and knock them out because they dont deserve it!! Playing high schools all year just doesnt get it!! People making Nebraska great because they played USC. Nebraska sux!! Kentucky would beat them!! Its a joke!!!

My book posted a line

USC -1.5 LSU o/u 49

Thoughts on that line?

I would lean to USC if this game were played this weekend. LSU w/o their top OL, although he's always hurt anyway. LSU also w/o Doucet, meaning the entire WR corps has less than 5 receptions coming into this season. Matt FLynn will not be 100% until Florida game due to high ankle sprain. Plus, LSU safeties aren't proven yet.

By the time the possibility of this matchup comes up, I may have a different read on these teams.

It will be LSU that gets beat against the TIDE because they are a better team than people think.
