One last remark by me on picking the Final 4.
Next year the committee should do this. You have 5 power conferences, and you have the rankings of the Top 4 you have to contend with. If for any reason you have teams that are not going to be in their conference championship but have a 1 game better record than teams going into the conference title games, when a team is ranked in the top 4 and ends up with a loss, they can not be in the Top 4, drop them out like a 6 or a 7, Clemson stayed in the Top 4 with a loss to Pitt, Ohio State was in the Top 4 after a loss on the road to Penn St, Michigan stayed in the Top 4 after a loss to Iowa, seems to me all the committee cared about is how much money the teams in the BIG would bring to the championship playoffs on to pay top ticket prices and sponsor money would be there which is a fiasco. It's always about money and screw the Conference Championships, why even have them if they mean nothing to the Playoff committee? If a team loses a game and they are in the TOP 4, drop them 4 spots automatically, no matter if it's a 1 playing a 2 and both are undefeated at the time they play head to head, etc., etc.
Fair is fair. This whole system sucks.
Put the best teams in the Top 4? Really? Even if they didn't even win their division or conference title? That's total BULLSHIT!!
Period! End of story!!
