Having said that, and using this line of thinking, there are literally thousands of laws we could change to cut the frequency of horrible events happening in this country. How about the Wall? No idea if this was informational or this is what you are advocating, but what are the chances of this happening in this country? How would the government go about "confiscating" AR's?

You don't think it is "informational"? A country instituted a gun buyback program when they ran into a problem with guns and the result was gun deaths and suicides plummeted. Stick your head back in the sand, nothing to see here.

What are the chances of this happening in this county? Well, as long as we think "Thoghts and Prayers to the families" is a sufficient response....never. When/if we get some politicians brave enough to protect the lives of innocent children and ordinary citizens, real change can happen.

How would I go about getting them back? Oh, I don't know, CALL AUSTRALIA and ask them how they did it.

I think the only way we'll see real change in this country is if someone wearing a turban exploits our stupid laws in a terrorism plot.
