Bought a used Weber from a friend here in town and saved 300 off a new one....has the natural gas hook up too so no more running out of propane....now I have a 300 dollar head start on my Kamado Joe!!

It's a grill and a smoker........so yeah, you won't need a grill.
For me it is a no brainer. Egg all the way.
It doesn't have to be a BIG GREEN EGG either. As long as the thickness of the ceramics is the same, save a little cash and get the biggest one you can get

We actually decided to go with the Green Egg and a flat Asado grill by Lynx. No gas grill.
I cooked on a flat grill in my college days when I was a cook at Outback. A bit more versatile for fish, tortillas, hibachi and your steaks dont lose all the juice through grates like on a standard gas grill. Also pancakes and bacon outside by the pool on a Saturday morning sounds awesome.. Oh yeah we decided to put in a pool!
Signed contract today. As soon as the permit goes through they break ground on pool and kitchen..Cant wait!
