The guy is making an effort to improve on his faults, he has admitted he fucked up.
He has taken the 1st step towards a cleaner and more socially acceptable person and you not only kick him in the balls, you bring his children into it.

He wasn't slamming Hedge. He was commiserating his own life experience from what I understand.
Betone is a good dude and I say that having never met him but I am quite sure that he meant no harm to Hedgie. I read it the same way at first but he clarified his point pretty quickly.
Funny is funny and I don't think he was trying to make light of Hedgie's current situation.
As for Hedgie,
I wish him all the best and hope he comes back stronger and happier and as silly as ever.
Lumi, I was joking with hedge, and also speaking about my own kids that grew up and how I could never do enough. I do not give hedge a lot of crap and have offered him advice and encouragement!

I have had the experience of 2 divorces and involved in an ugly custody battle for my 15 year old son.
She, 1st bitch, had him for 12 years and dropped the ball. I am spending quite a bit of money on boarding school the specializes on his disablity, yet said bitch wants to pull the pin on all the progress.
This does me NO GOOD ! with my migraines :nono:
My youngest child is the one most effected by the divorce, she was 9 then and 21 today. I have jumped on a plane to see her in an event when I did not have the money to spend. My other kids see all that I have done and they get it....hoping the youngest gets it also one day?
My boy with Aspbergers, who is still with his mother, is the one who is going to be the most affected by this drama.
He hears the negative things about me, my family, and now his mom is blasting her own daughter and other son, my 15 year old.
It was very, very unfortunate. To put in gentle terms.
