i agree that ellerbe and kruger were way overpaid..they couldn`t pay that kind of bread for one year`s production.....
very few became better after leaving....this is true...
agree on williams,too....
but that wasn`t the gist of prisco`s article...he`s saying that these losses aren`t that big a deal...and with that,i disagree....he says they`re all replaceable...at some point,that`s true...but this all happened in ONE offseason....
we aren`t going to be the same next year....probably not close....and it might be several years before we become legit contenders again...
and it`s very possible that we may not even sniff the playoffs for several years....
i think he was way too cavalier when addressing what happened this offseason...we`ve been decimated...
probably had to be done at some point....we`ll just have to be patient and hope we bring in some decent vets and mine some solid young talent....
actually makes next year even more interesting for ravens fans...i`m stilling hoping we see some bobby rainey next year(our little ray rice clone)....:toast:
