I respect Lance for what he did. It takes incredible ability to bounce back from cancer and dominate one of the toughest athletic events in the world for seven years like he did.

His work to raise money for cancer research is even more admirable.

I would respect him a lot more if he would man up and admit he cheated. The sad fact is that cheating by doping is less and less of a disgraceful act with every athlete that gets caught. He should show some backbone and take his medicine if he really wants to move on with his life like he claims.

That is a direct quote from the very same blogger from the very same guardian. All I did was click on the link you posted, read it, laughed a little bit and then stopped, looked to the right of the column and saw the titles of his recent blogs. I saw the one about Lance he posted in July and clicked on it. I then highlighted that quote and pasted it. That is when you accused me of making shit up while you continue to state as fact that he doped when you have zero, zero, zero, did I mention absolutely no proof that he did. Who is making shit up again Jedi?

You have made up your mind, blinded by jealousy I guess I don't know. I am sorry that Jedi's and Peruvians suck at cycling brother, I really am, but that is no reason to go around slandering a champion's accomplishments. One more thing, you said that all those that he competed against were caught doping and he still beat them, therefore, he had to dope. Well wouldn't that mean that he would have beat them even if they didn't dope? Maybe he was just better than them? I mean if they're all doping and he still wins? :shrug:

2 weeks since Lance announced he wouldn't challenge the USADA's charges anymore, the UCI still hasn't received the case file.

You have all this evidence and an alleged concrete case, make photo copies and FedEx the stuff over to Europe. Who is handling this for them, Ryan Braun's urine collector?

Essentially another month has passed and the USADA still hasn't passed on their file on Armstrong. The earlier statements about this turning into a turf war appear to be playing out. The UCI is going to be looking at the file with a skeptical eye, and rightfully so in my opinion, when they finally do get it.

Think about how dirty the sport was(/still is), not that tough.

As I said before, the most damning one is Hincapie. However, it comes out now that he has admitted to doping. He has accepted a ban for 6 months during the non-prime months of the sport. If you were still racing and needing to make a living, would you sell out your old pal for a reduced sentence so that you could still compete in the big races next summer?

And another perspective on it, Hincapie received 6 months while Lance was banned for life. Lance isn't racing anymore. Hincapie is still racing. Is the USADA's stance that it wasn't a witch hunt, and it is about cleaning up the sport really holding that much water?
