What do they need though ? Do they want shelter? Handouts? This is exactly where I want my charitable dollars to go, but i don't know how much it helps when they would rather be without the restraints that come with the shelter.
They are the forgotten, the downtrodden, the untouchables, and the pariahs of the city. Maybe if you are looking for somewhere to donate, consider a homeless outreach or shelter. They really need help.

Lots of them do accept the shelter and food provided by the charities. I just see the ones that don't. Also the shelters are very strict and take no shit. They will kick u out in a heartbeat if u don't follow the rules.

Awesome! It's up to you really. I'm going to Haiti in December. First trip since 2007, and it costs $2k. If u have an orphan u are supporting, I'll make it a point to go see them. U can't really go wrong with Haiti. I can personally guarantee it's legit and does great work! Thanks.

Sixfive and Feelgood, thanks for a good time casino crawling last night. 7pm to 430am hitting and running. I estimate 11 casinos? I also estimate a 90 minute walk looking for Secret Pizza between finding it and making our way back to PHO. I'm gonna hit that bellagio progressive today. :0003

I got back to the Flamingo around 4....walked around looking for some VP, went to the LinQ, back to the Cromwell and was going to walk over to Caesars but said screw it and went to bed....got to my room and the key wouldn't work....had to go to the front desk and wait to tell the guy how pissed I was to have to wait in line for 15 more minutes to get a key that worked....
I lost 5 bucks on the night and like you say not bad for 11 casinos worth of playing and about 20 beers and tequila and sodas...after the 90 minute IPAs at Bellagio I was a wee bit buzzed but that 3 mile hike to Secret Pizza cured that....:mj07:
