Some Westgate pics. Like I have written here, millions have gone into this joint this summer. The sportsbook still has a gaping hole in it, and is way behind schedule since football is here. Lost $200 tonight playing blackjack. On to the next episode. I have sportsbook pics (the big screens are incredible; unbelievable HD gigantic screens!) and some "ass"ets at the craps table.

Meanwhile I have $350 in reds in a rack and the cage is closed. I can't carry all those chips around. I finally got one of the pit bosses to color me up so I can leave. I just talked to a guy who is staying on the 11th floor. No elevators lololol. What a bad situation. I'm glad I could get out at least. Going to cash out at HarrAhs.

Clint you're a really good writer. You should write a book and recount your stories as a gambler and a nurse in Las Vegas. You could have 12 chapters in it and recount a whole year and do a January-December type of account. Could write it exactly like this thread, hire an editor (I'm sure people here could help you with that) and bring out the best in your stories. I bet there would be a lot of people who would read it, I love gambling books like The Odds, Positively Fifth Street, Bringing down the House, etc. I think there would be even more people interested in reading a true story. I know it's all been done before, but most of it is within gambling. You have your own personal accounts from what you see in the hospital as well. Would be a good read, just my two cents.

I have lost at sports and VP today and won at BJ. Up $60 at the moment. Smurphy and I are getting our second winds. He has been up since 2am, and I only slept 2 hours last night.
Mayweather fight is next door, and Las Vegas is pretty zoo-like this weekend for that and the NFL opener.

Smurphy and I had a big night. If it weren't for the Tropicana Casino and sports betting, I would be up a nickel. I was firing at black jack and getting some very nice shoes. Most of my damage done was at Hooters though on their single deck 3/2. That's a great game and 6/5 everywhere else I have seen it. Lots of people in town for this

Our miracle cover with Rice +14.5 fueled a late night run where Smurphy won big at pai gow and I treated water.
Our late night 4am breakfast at the bar was altered when Smurphy's kavorka drew in a 21 year old stripper from Pittsburgh. She was mad at her boyfriend, so she piled in between us at the bar. Smurphy never met a stranger, so they really hit it off, and we heard all about her life and job at Cheerleaders in Pittsburgh. She claimed to make $400 on her slowest nights. She said they are topless, but hey can go completely naked on Tuesday. Something about spinning the wheel, and whatever it lands on the girl does? My understanding was that whatever the girl is willing to do goes on in the private area. She was all class

So, tonight is shaping up to what I hope what will be one to remember for a long time. It already is, but hopefully it keeps on getting better. We are at Hooters again, and I arrived during the Cowboys first half. I have no bet, and Smurphy has the Over. I told him we had to bet the over in the second half bc we knew Dallas would push the pace bc they were behind and for the value. I thought I took a picture, but I guess not.
First BJ session, the dealer was good to me, and I progressed up to a fast $200 win. Some morons sat down, I took my winnings. Next session, I played with a dealer from last night who was good to me. I start with a $20 bet. If I win, I take it back. If I win again I stack it. If I win again, I stack a portion of it. It's not exactly how Jack plays, but similar. Anyway, I was up to betting $80 after a $60 win which was after a $50 double down win. A clown sits down in the only empty spot and puts down a $5 chip. I actually didn't see him, and the dealer says to me, "new player". I immediately go back to my base bet and get 19. The dealer shows a 5, next card 10, next card 6. I thank the dealer, tip her again even though I lost, and colored up a $300 win.
Our second half bet is looking like a turd until the Giants get the pick 6 and the Cowboys get a fast score. Smurphy and I are sweating it when the miracle hits. I tell him this might be our night, and he agrees. After cashing out tickets, I look for a BJ table, but I don't like the looks of them, so I check on Smurphy who is back at Pai Gow. I watch a hand and give him a nickel to put on the Queen's Dragon Bonus. This is a sucker bet that pays 50:1 if the dealer gets a queen hi pai how and more for a jack high etc. Shane gets his cards and places them, and he tells the dealer its up to her now. She spread out a queen hi pai gow, and Smurphy and I are yelling. I tipped her and Smurphy, and now I'm up $800 on the night.
I sat down to type this out for a break and to collect my thoughts. This is a lot of money to me, and the gambler's thought is to always keep going, but we know how that often ends up. More later, and viva Las Vegas!
