While I've been a member for awhile (never posted), I wasn't around and just wanted to say that I'm sorry I've missed out on the quality discussions.

I do much more during football season, but will post when I feel I have something to offer.

In the Michigan / Oklahoma game, to me, the question is - will Oklahoma be able to get the ball inside? If they can, they should be able to win by double digits. If you think that the Michigan defense will be able to stop them from getting the ball inside, then I can see liking Michigan.

Personally, I like Oklahoma to get it done, but won't be shocked by Michigan stepping up.

In the NBA today, my leans would be on MIL and CHI, but in both cases, don't feel there is enough value at the current lines. I thought money might come in on the Lakers (still might).

Good Luck,
Bart

Bart, would love to have you join in on the fun. Got some straight shooters here with differing opinions but always respectful to one another. Hey, ask these guys how much crap I get everytime I throw out an overs play for discussion? We're in this to make some money and have fun doing it together. Hope to see you again soon

If you ever see me be disrespctful to anyone, I'll ban myself.

Beating the books is hard enough.

No one should ever have to put up with disrespect for trying to help others.

It really seems like a good thing you have going here, hope that I'll be able to help.

Tidbit from Bator over at *overs:

"tonight will be the Knicks' eighth game since New Year's in which they were playing a team that beat them at the Garden in their last meeting. The Knicks have covered all seven rematches so far. "

There's a gem for ya. How do they do it? and what does that mean for the total?

Yes, I see MEM breaking 80 here but barely. First, it's going to take just a few games for even the a pro like KG to get his NBA legs back. Yes his presence alone will change the dynamics in this team but once your legs starts feeling hollow in 4Q, it's a struggle to D up like you want to. Second, the Celtics team D has changed while KG was out. Muscle memory does take a little time to correct even when it's already familiar with the movement. They changed their defensive scheme while KG was out and now has to revert back to the old. This too will take a little time.

Yeah that's of course very true indeed. Grizz should get really affected as they rely more on their frontcourt for scoring than backcourt and now with KG back, they could get stuck, slowed down and unable to find ways to solve the defense.
One key match-up would be who guards Rudy Gay...assuming that it's Pierce one could argue that Gay is taller, and his high release lets him shoot over, but Pierce is heavier and more experienced. If he could shut down LBJ, pushing Gay out and letting him do his work from beyond the arc (where he's weaker) shouldn't be much of a problem. I like the tough young Gasol, but can't see him do much more.
So, lets say that realistically Celts build up a solid 7+ lead, chances are Grizz are either gonna start jacking up 3s or slowing down and working the opp D, get some late calls or clear shots. They have been shooting better 3ps, but this Celts D is solid through and through on the backcourt side.

Both teams on b2b, we could actually see a way slower pace than usual, especially with one team trailing few buckets, no

Anyone have thoughts on Orl/NYK 1h U? NY averaging 44 & Orl 56 respectively L5 games. Current line is 110.

Thanks, G:0corn

Well according to this stat, it means that the Knicks would hang around, which would be bad for our under as a blowout would be better.

However, the Bricks might be done for the season considering they got beat bad by the Harris-less Nets and the previously 0-28 against the East Queens. Here's hoping it's the latter!

I'm about to lock this under. I'm getting ready to go out for the evening and I already put too much thought into this game. You liking the under bro?
