I'll vote for a War Hero over a Racist black man any day. JMO.

You'll vote to have your kids killed in a war so a billionaire can make an extra hundred million. So to keep paying $4.00 a gal and with McSame it will keep going up, vote to take out a 3rd mortgage to send your kid to college, but you better not get sick because they will take your home to pay for your medical bills. McCain is not a war hero, he was in a war and did what you're not suppose to do, get shot down. This guy had already crashed 4 aircraft, number 5 just happened to be in a war. Just say that you would vote for Bush, again.

hitler inspired many germans......:SIB .

WTF? Churchill inspired many English. Kennedy inspired many Americans. Roosevelt inspired many Americans. Lincoln inspired many Americans.

So what's your point? All who inspire are like Hitler?

Another quality - I believe he is less sold out to special interests than McCain or Hillary. Sure, he's not completely free from their influence - but I believe he is not as dangerously tied to them as the other two.

- McCain has more experience. But many of us can detect a personality quality with Obama that gives us confidence in his abilities to lead the country. It's there, it's obvious, and there is not really any argument against it.

no...i`m just saying theres not much else there...and what is there is pretty much negative...by that i mean his past associations are dubious at best....

..if public speaking is enough criteria to pick a pres.,then lets start culling nominees from the debating society...you have to have some record...and his record is the rub...

look, his spiel is he claims he`s a uniter but he practically never crossed the party line..he was the most liberal senator in congress last year...and that`s when he DID vote...which wasn`t often...

comparing him to mccain ,who has made a career out of pissing off his base by crossing party lines to get stuff done, and it`s no contest....

the "uniting" stuff is b.s. based on the record...he`s a one way ticket...

now, theres`s the post of "this thread",scottie.....:D

I'm somewhat familiar. I didn't say he was completely free from influence, just that he's probably less compromised than the other two.

Its unfortunate that to be in politics in America you have to play these games just to get started.
Its all about the money . Those who have it or can get it , move on in politiics.

McCain has plenty rattling around in his closets also. Its the American way.

At least we dont have to worry about Slick Willy leaving a deposit and making the news.

Antoin "Tony" Rezko (born 1955 in Aleppo, Syria) is an American restaurateur and real estate developer in Chicago, Illinois and convicted felon. Beginning in the 1980s, Rezko became involved in fundraising for local Illinois Democratic and some Republican[citation needed] politicians, focusing primarily on Chicago-area Democrats and was one of Barack Obama's [1] first financial contributors. After becoming a major contributor to Rod Blagojevich's successful gubernatorial election, Rezko assisted Blagojevich in setting up the state's first Democratic administration in twenty years and was able to have business associates appointed onto several state boards. Rezko and several others were indicted on federal charges in October 2006, for allegedly using their connections to the state boards to demand kickbacks from businesses that wanted to do business with the state. While the others plead guilty to the charges, Rezko plead not guilty and was found guilty of 16 of the 24 charges filed against him and which CBS News said "high-profile federal trial provided an unusually detailed glimpse of the pay-to-play politics that has made Illinois infamous." Apparently that isn't all he is. He is now the leading candidate to be President of the United States. He's run a well-organized and efficient campaign. Not just any ol' salesman can do that.
