Joker...there are gay boxers and gay MMA fighters.

I wouldn't want to mess with either of em.

Carry on:SIB

For the record I have sen a ton of boxing matches where all they do is grab one another and run around.

Betone.......you know better, you have seen many boxing matches where they hug one another more then a San Fran bath house.

Come on now.

The longer boxing stays irrelevant, the harder it'll be to make a comeback. The fan base is dwindling because the younger audience loves MMA. As time goes by, those younger people become middle aged and older....and almost all the people that gave a crap about boxing are either gone or too apathetic to do anything about it because they know they are fighting a losing battle. Maybe I'm wrong....and I almost hope i am, because back in the 70s and 80s, boxing kicked ass. Corruption sure ruins stuff though. Unfortunately, MMA is next on the list. Every sport is open to being corrupted in some way. I'm sure that MMA already is corrupt in some ways, but it's just not in the spotlight yet. In the meantime, i'll enjoy MMA and know that I followed it back in the Dan Severn, Tank Abbott, 3 fights a night hayday. Those were the insane days of MMA!

If the MMA guys actually had rules, which is fighting only with there fists ? They would get knocked the fuck out........Just saying, and if the "boxers" had to worry about a bitch kicking there knees......what is next? Knives, or who can pull the trigger faster? Hell, martial arts are martial arts? We had them back in the day and they could have ripped the rib cage out of a guy and pulled his inner body parts out, is that what we are destined to see:shrug:

u sound like a guy who will never give MMA a chance. I love both sports but the reality is that Sugar Ray leonard in his hayday would get worked By Jose Aldo in one round.

Not bullshit at all Betone....

Aldo would destroy a guy like Sugar Ray...destroy him.

You realize even Tyson himself has stated he'd get his arm ripped off if he stepped into the cage.

He has stated this more then once.

Betone is "old school" though. So all good.

If boxing was run like MMA it would have a very good chance to be on top again unfortunately the promoters stand in the way. The biggest boxing match quite possibly in history is taking forever to make and might not even happen with Pac and Mayweather. That is what a joke Boxing has become. Back in the day Leonard fought Duran, Hearns, Hagler, he fought them all. Now it is different. One promoter hates the other so they dick around and around with this childish nonsense while MMA just explodes.

BULLSHIT You are spraying it all around with this

U don't even know who Aldo is :mj07: Sugar Ray was my favorite fighter but the bottom line is he would get kicked once and choked out. James Toney just tried for goodness sakes and didn't last a round and if the MMA guy wanted to he could have beat him 2 minutes earlier. Now if it was a boxing match Toney would have knocked his head off.

I always hear MMA is coming to major networks but I must always miss it. When and where can I watch it?

I'd give it another chance. I just get bored as soon as they hit the mat.

But Kick you are right, boxing can be just as boring.
