I find it sad and extremely disheartening that people are more concerned about him being fired than what Sandusky did. Paterno knew what was happening and did nothing to put a stop to it. He should share the punishment. Firing him was appropriate.
I thought the same thing about these reporters.. Near the end one of them was suggesting or bating by saying something like,
this was a way to get rid of Paterno because of football performance over the years..
To even suggest that the firing was opportunistic due to the fact Penn St has not lived up to standards on the field over past few years is a fucking embarrassment to reporters everyone. What a joke?
