Haven't much time this week so here is a quick update...
Today is Day 3, Day 1 Kaitlin testified. Day 2 Aliyah, Jenna, Damion, and Tammy testified. Apparently all the girls did a great job :00hour
Today the girl from the lower mainland is being flown in and will go first. She used to live here when she was younger and that's when stuff happened with her. I will be going next and Tina this afternoon at 2 when we come back from lunch. After I testify I will be able to attend the proceedings in the courtroom.
Yesterday the Sheriff Kurt took me aside and told me a had a pretty great kid, make a papa proud :00hour:00hour:00hour

Sorry for the lack of updates. Everything has been nets since we started. We spent 2 very long days in a crowded witness room until the girls had all testified. I wasn't there but my friend's wife who is an Aunt to my kids accompanied my girls on the stand and said they both did very well.
My wife and I kept getting bounced around but finally testified last Thursday. Yesterday he testified for his defence, man that was the 2nd worst day of my life. Listening to what he did (at least what he admitted to) and his justification for doing so? Pedo-proofing them so they wouldn't get abused :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
I've been watching the trial since I testified, Tina has returned to homeschooling the kids. She wanted to watch Tony on the stand doing his defence but I said no. Not that I'm her boss but I am her husband and I just couldn't see any good coming from it. Tammy has been watching the trial and I've seen what it's done to her...
Tomorrow the crown will finish cross-examination of Tony then they will both present closing arguments. The judge has said a verdict will be coming Friday. Tina wants to come Friday and I think that would be good for her.

Cross finished up at lunch time. After lunch were closing arguments, Tony didn't say much but the crown had a ton to say and was asked a lot of questions by the judge.
At the very end the judge's demeanour changed as he addressed the court and the families in the gallery. He became very serious and emotional and explained how in his ruling he would refer the the girls by their first initial and the accused by his initials as well trying to avoid any detail to lead to the identity to the girls, as he was mindful of the time we live in and should the ruling become public or make it to the internet he didn't want any further harm to come to the girls.
To the best of my knowledge there are 16 counts pending. Legislation has changed in 2012 I believe that doubled the minimum sentence so should we get to sentencing all of this will be taken into account. The judge was very professional however there were a couple times when I could see him getting disgusted and/or pissed off at Tony
When we first started I was thinking we would do well with 3-5 years. I heard that the crown will be asking for 10. If Tony pissed the judge off enough he could push the max.
Well at least the verdict comes tomorrow. Then I believe it could be up to another 6-8 weeks for sentencing. Crown will ask for remand until sentencing, not sure if we will get it though. :0008

Including the judge as he explained his decision on each count. I'm not sure how many times he stuttered or had to compose himself before continuing.
Tony was found guilty on 13 of the 16 remaining charges. 1 of the counts happened before 2002, that count will carry a minimum of 1 year sentence. Charges happening in 2002 or later will carry a minimum 2 year sentence.

The crown put the court on notice that they may seek psych eval for the purposes of having him labeled a dangerous offender which carries more prison time and to be listed on the sex offender's registry I believe.
March 23 is when a sentencing date will be ordered, as well as a decision on the psych eval. The judge is also insisting on him retaining counsel for the purposes of sentencing.
He has until 5pm local time to get his affairs in order and surrender to the local RCMP as he has been remanded until sentencing.
