regardless of a persons opinion on a man, he should never be judged on the day of his death. many people are mourning right now, last thing anyone wants to hear is someone bashing their loved one who has passed...
i have stated numerous times that i was disgusted by his actions, or lack of for that matter, but i am still extremely upset that he has passed.
the man did so much for so many people. I will always remember the sandusky scandal, as most will. That being said, i am not going to allow that to have me forget that thousands of lives he has changed in a positive way. Yes he messed up, yes he should have done more, yes i think it was disgusting.
but if you go back over the years, there are literally thousands of children, teens, and adults who have improved their lives because of this man. He helped those people directly. that is all i want people to remember. That this sandusky scandal is not a direct reflection of how he lived the majority of his life.

i heard someone say today, "the world is a better place now".
apparently they only knew of the sandusky scandal. I can promise everyone one thing, and that is that the world is not a better place. He positivley influenced so may people its insane. Yes i am sad for the victims of sandusky. They deserved so much better. but i will not forget about all the other great things the man did, because of this one incident.
