Disagree 99% with Kniefl on his comments about recruiters. If you have GOOD recruiters in your particular industry and maintain relationships with them, they do care because you are money to them. Also, I always try to refer people I know if they (recruiters) ask because karma is a boomerang. Must be different in your world kniefl.
I really don't care what you think. I value everyone else's opinion in this thread. Your opinion has no value to me and probably many others. You have shown repeatedly on this forum that you're an ass clown and everyone knows it.
Fortunately, I've been offered a sales job with a start date of 2/16 after about a month of looking.

Very immature post here.
Your blanket opinion of recruiters is pretty far off base.
But add me to the list of "ass clowns" that you don't value their opinion.
Good luck with your new position. Congrats on being hired so quickly in this economy.
I disagree Jason. Go check some of his previous posts towards me and you'll see. Not immature at all - immature of you to stick your nose in here - yes.
My opinion of recruiters only comes from friends who are recruiters and tell me what it's all about. I guess like Marine said they must be 3rd party recruiters.
BTW, my new sales position is in SEO sales. I was going to e mail you about it thinking you might know something about it, but guess I didn't need to.

I also said that I'd be much more wary working with an internal corprate recruiter than with an independent 3rd party recruiter.
Just like any industry, there are bags of turds in recruiting.
But the turd factor is more a result of the organization they work for, rather than their individual decision to be a dirtbag.
My opinion of recruiters only comes from friends who are recruiters and tell me what it's all about.
