We went to Pegasus Tavernas in St Clair Shores first time. I've eaten at their Greek Town restaurant many times.

We started out with Feta cheese , olives & some Saganaki. Wife had Moussaka & I usually order lamb but wasn't in the mood, so I had my usual Chicken Kebab w/ rice. Overall pretty good.

Man I love that food. I remember Hellas in Greektown years ago would serve a whole broiled sea bass with greek potatoes and beans and salad. WOW, one of my all time favorite dishes.

Hellas was my favorite. I had a friend who was a waiter there & he use to really pile on our table different dishes. Sorry to see it torn down. Greek Town has turned into not so much Greek not like the old days.

Tonight is Pizza night at our house from my favorite Green Latern.

You like Green Lantern better than Buddy's? Not that green lantern isn't good.

I miss Hellas. That was the only Greek restaurant I'd go to back in the day.

Are those NY strips? I have about 10 of them in a big freezer right now. Probably will have a few this weekend. I like to cook mine with seasoned salt/soy sauce/lemon juice rubbed in. Let them sit for few minutes, then I rub rosemary on them and cook them. Once they're out I put a bit of blue cheese on the top. So good,,,,

Delmonicos. I don't know much about steak. He's the "chef". Light coat of olive oil, season-all, sea salt, ground black pepper, and grill mates montreal steak seasoning. Do both sides. Slap em over charcoal and pour a little Miller Lite over them. When they're almost done cover em in Kraft original bbq sauce. Take em off the grill and cover with tin foil for 5 mins before eating. YUM.

My mom has no idea this is happening tomorrow.

My step dad is making home made pnut butter ice cream too.

JK, to each there own.....I put butter and garlic on top and stick in the oven for about 7 minutes letting it melt over the steaks with mushrooms. Makes a great Au Jus !
