#2 rated QB thru 13 games..and #'s todays will not hurt..

directed a much maligned team to early success and guided them to a Div. Championship

10-4 record..7-0 on the road..

win #11 today..

go for win #12 at Wash.

3 Td's today...and maybe more..31 so far..and only 8 Int's

scoff all ya want...MVP type season..

:popcorn2
MVP isnt about stats, if it were I'd put Ben's over Romo's any day this year. Dallas is successful this year because they finally have an offensive line and #1 running game. Not because Romo is the most valuable player to his team, which is what MVP means. IMO..

he`s having a good year....but in fairness,he has as good a supporting offensive cast as any team in the league(dez Bryant, terrance Williams, witten, demarco murray)...the cowboys smartened up and drafted zack martin and travis Frederick the last several years to solidify that offensive line(probably the main reason that murray looks like the second coming of eric Dickerson)....

and last but not least, the cowboys took a page out of the tom brady/peyton manning playbook and got a consistent slot receiver to round out the offense(cole Beasley...they`re utilizing the guy brilliantly)...

romo`s having a solid year and deserves credit......but it`s not all romo by a long shot....plenty of qb`s in the league would be having solid seasons with that caliber of surrounding talent...

People can hate all they want. He has had a fantastic career, even with bad Cowboy teams in the past. BTW, with this game tonight he passed Aikman as the Cowboys all time leading passer for the team. I've always liked him and thought he was a fine competitor as well as a fine person in the public eye (role model type).

he`s had a solid season with amazing supporting talent...

now all he has to do is prove he can lead all that talent to some playoff success.....

I think we can all agree that will be the litmus teast...

hell,i expect them to do well in the playoffs...hot at the right time...

yep Peyton did..

last year...guess what..another league MVP

nobody can deny the pieces fell into place..

to say the leader of a soon to be 12-4 football team in the NFL while being the #2 ranked person at his position is just "one of many" or "hey pretty good" ...nay...he's MVP of this "Regular Season" for this Cowboy team...and should get many 2nd, 3rd and 4th place votes for MVP.

yeah..he's "all Romo" THIS REGULAR SEASON

Who is better?

Cardinals are not, they're beat up real bad....

Lions are weak, can't beat us.

Packers won't beat us, if they get a wc spot...

Eagles, well they have lost their last three games. Or is it four?

Falcons probably won't get WC spot.

Seahawks, beat them......

Panthers? You have got to be kidding me....

Romo has an offensive line now. Murray is a beast, Bryant is incredible. So many other weapons as well. We are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming weeks....

Gosh Cie...seems like a good enuff question in the NFL forum..

the NFL forum was never the wrong place to bash the hell out of the guy{Romo} when he failed..

and there has damn sure been enough of the cat calls and booing of Romo on this site in the NFL forum to last a lifetime..

Time to sing the praises of a QB leading his team to a great REGULAR SEASON.

can't be much harm in that for fans who have watched the failures year in and year out

We can all bet our last blue chip that if he fails to win in the playoffs the NFL forum will be where all those who love to smash his ass will be lined up with a brand new keyboard.

just food for thought big guy..

if anybody is fair in assessment around here it is usually you.

"Keep Smilin"

In the event you missed my fair assessment in post 30 of this thread...

I saw him twice. Today and against my pathetic Saints. Looked damn good to me. He might be able to win a playoff game this season. Time will tell. As for mvp, I'd put him top 3-4 in the NFL.
