because they say you should pick a date to program your mind. i picked the 20th because my birthday is the 19th and i will most definitely be drinking that day so.....i don't want to be tempted.pinky said:I am thining about quitting real soon too...but was curious why you picked the 20th???
because i thought i could smoke while i was drinking and got hooked again. it only takes one. i know now that i can never, ever, have even a drag off of one. why didn't i quit again? because i kept telling myself i could quit any time i want. the time is now, once and for all.Agent 0659 said:Jack if after a week you didnt have a problem why are you smoking again?
Agent 0659 said:Chuck I smoked from age 18-30, quit Jan.1- 2 years ago, you can do it! I did the same thing, made bets, etc, but the biggest thing I did was make PROMISES to the people I care about and those who care about me. That gave me more will power than money ever would. WTF, we are gamblers we are immune to money.
My best advice, forget the gum, forget the patch, they are all just crutches and you wont be able to rid your body of nicotine like you need to. Believe me its hard but man is it worth it! :sadwave:
