UCK?

i have it censored here but what's the difference of typing fuk or fcuk or whatever?

i have it censored so some aren't offended but.....

why?

this is a gambling forum, it's an everyday word. you can't even go to the movies without hearing it or almost anywhere for that matter except maybe church. are women really offened by the word? "hey! watch your language, ladies are present"

whataya think

who here is really offended?

Weird. I was just thinking the other day about how this word and all curse words for that matter have lost their luster. Besides the embarrassment of my two year old saying it in front of other people, why do I give a fcuk about the word ****?

i think it means "fine clothing from the UK"

what's the first thing that comes to mind when you see that store?

there are worse words to say than that.

it doesn't offend me at all but you're probably better off in keeping it censored.

you're a sensible guy, Al, that's for sure.

yes, there are much worse words that only have 1 meaning. F*** has many, many meanings, nice and bad ;)

i think the C word may be the worst as far as profanity goes. THAT is one that ALL women are offended by :D

Agree with AR182 there are worse words for a bunch of gamblers like us. We should think about other words to ban like, "LOCK" and the goopy phrase, "At least one of us will win". Or, "What do you think of this 5-team parlay?"

The wisdom is that the word adds substance for those who have limited vocabulary, ie: WC Fields who hated Phila"f**king"delphia. That was 1946. This membership could probably deal with it. Libraries, coffee houses and other public entities may restrict the site, if you gave a f**k. Also, if it is aimed at someone personally, it only has one meaning.

it probably has to do with my age (lol).

i agree i think the c word is more offensive.

my wife thinks that i curse too much so coming here makes me clean up my act.

i agree with hawkeye & i think that you might regret it if you uncensor the f word.

yep. french connection united kingdom.

they are certainly capitalizing on the "taboo"

while in no way am i offended, i do agree with those who would rather have it remain censored. the "privilege" of being able to express ourselves more fully would no doubt be abused.

if you were to allow the word ****, that would really open the door for many new variations like ****face, mother****er, dry****, and ****tits. I'm all for it :com:
